The woman who did my nails was awful. I paid $ 70 for a gel mani pedi so I expect it to be done well, it wasn’t.
She dug at my nail bed with a cuticle cutter until I couldn’t take it any longer from the pain and I asked her to stop. She half-​assed my massage, less than 30 seconds. She painted all over my cuticles. Not only this but her attitude was AWFUL. Very rough when grabbing my feet and hands and was on her phone at least 4 times during my visit.
She also cut my cuticle, and when I was done with my manicure she proceeded to the next patron and use the exact same tools without sanitizing them.

I have only been here one time, but it was the best gel manicure I have ever had. Standard prices as far as I know. I was so relaxed that I fell asleep! Will definitely be coming back.

Truly the best I’ve been to in this city or L.A. or anywhere else I’ve lived. I get gels, and every time I’m amazed at how good my manicure looks. And it lasts longer than any others; I tend to really beat up my nails. I won’t go anywhere else now; they seem to thrive on perfectionism. I stumbled into the place one day as it’s near my house; I’m so glad I found it!

I get a regular mani/​pedi almost weekly and they are by far the best in the city. I’ve tried a few and am very picky about my mani/​pedis. I moved out to the Outer Sunset and still make my way over here every time.
I would call in advance on the weekends to make an appointment.

This is by far the best manicure and pedicure place in the area. I’ve tried a few others in SF and been highly disappointed that I didn’t just come to Chris’ Spa. The women are wonderful and do a fantastic job on all dead skin and painting.

This is a nice and clean nail salon, I recomend it, they are excellent professionals. I had a great pedi and gel mani. Parking on the street is easy and prices are fare.

We called to ask for a quote on a mani pedi and were told $ 30, but we were later charged $ 35. They had adequate amenities — foot bath but no bubbles, light foot and calf rub, a little lotion rub on your hands, then down to business for the mani-​pedi. Minus one star for the inaccurate quote to get us in the door, minus another star for the quality of their nail polish job. My nails were chipping within a week when other places I’ve been to have lasted much longer.
We also got eye brow waxes. I was happy with mine for $ 12. My boyfriend was not pleased — the lady waxed his eyebrows into uneven shapes.

This was the worst waxing experience of my life. I have never had the person waxing me have me help them wax. Also, she was extremely rushed even though I had an appointment. Two different times she opened the door to talk to someone while I was in the table extremely exposed. I was embarrassed. The room was too tight for her to move around so she was very rude and pushed me around. At the end, she asked me two times for a tip. It was a painful humiliating experience. … Two weeks later and the grow out is horrible with so many ingrown hairs. Please stay away!

I got a mani/​pedi $ 35 and my eyebrows $ 12. I walked in off the street with no problem. The shop is clean and they did an excellent job.

Friend of a friend referred me here. When I first stepped in I thought, it’s not busy, that’s awesome! I don’t have to wait! The place was lighted up with open space. There are three nail stations, and about 5 – 6 pedicure massage chairs. I ask for a gel mani and a pedi. As I sat on the massage chair, i felt the soft leather covering over a marble like arm rest. It was a very nice chair. It made actually want one of my own. Haha! Daisy started doing my pedi. But another lady came in to Lindsey took over. Daisy did a great job on cutting the cuticle on my toes, but when Lindsey came, they did it again! Such an perfectionists. I love it! Lindsey was really honest with me about the color I chose in very discrete way (very professional) and suggested a different color. So I decided let just get a gel pedi and gel mani. It turned out amazing! Go check out my picture yourself! I can’t wait till my daughter gets old enough where she sits still so I can take her to go do nails with me!

Ok here now. Had a pedicure with Lindsay and Daisy. Lindsay did the hard work but after cleaning and doing my cuticles and filing and all the hard labor she had to pass me to miss daisy. Lindsay had a priest come in who waited for a while and then she did his manicure. Both were lovely and I then stood up and ruined my big toe. Daisy fixed it right away but removing all layers and doing it over. No short fix and she did it with a big smile nice chair with massage and nice service. Price can’t be beat for what you get, another nail place I wish I could live near since they were wonderful. Was very clean and had real flip flops for me since I forgot mine. YEAH!

This is one of the best nail salons I’ve ever been to! I’ve been going here for gel manicures for roughly a year and have never been disappointed. Lindsay is meticulously detailed and makes sure you are happy with the job she has done. Wish the color selection was expanded for gels but otherwise couldn’t be better!

Decided to get a pedicure before we headed to the Cajun house for dinner. I didn’t have an appointment but my toe nails were killing me! Could barely walk with my sneakers on, good thing I had my sandals with me in my car!
Well they graciously took me without an appointment as long as what I was gonna do was a pedicure only.
Sat in the standard massage chair and they began to work on me. Ask them for hot water if your getting a pedicure, they always default to warm water.
The lady was very thorough and took her time taking care of the toes with the most problems, she really took her time. It was a bit painful but that was entirely my fault for waiting too long to get a pedicure.
It’s a newer, cleaner establishment, the whole thing cost me 25 bucks which is more then I ever paid for any pedicure. But all in all great experience for a guy getting a pedicure, left and my feet are feeling a million bucks!

Hard to review places like this because not sure if I should already expect a lack of customer service and friendly attitude, which is quite important to me. Low stars based on that but they did a good job on my pedicure and know what they’re doing. Clean and sanitary, experienced technician … Lack friendliness and customer service. Hope this helps!

Excellent pedicure and gel manicures. I love my nails!
I’m normally indecisive so I always stick with French tips or solid red but I wanted to do something special for NYE. So I decided to be bold and I went for a red gel manicure with gold glitter ombré tips! I love it so much, I know I’m coming back to this place again!

I went in there today for an eyebrow wax. The girl who was in the middle of a manicure stopped the manicure, walked into the back, does not wash her hands nor use alcohol gel, does not say a word to me, and proceeds to wax my eyebrows using extremely hot wax. She goes back towards the customer she ditched without washing her hands and resumed the manicure. Twenty minutes later, my eyelids start to hurt so I look in a mirror. Half the eyelid on each eye had been ripped off by the wax. I’m not even exaggerating. I looked like I had a second eyebrow made of raw skin over each eye, covering the length of the eye and about .5 inches in height. I walk back into the salon and told the girl at the front what had happened.
She yells out to the same girl who had done the wax job what had happened (the girl was in the middle of another manicure, probably not having washed her hands between the customers.) I show her what had happened and her excuse to me was, «you have sensitive skin.» Um, OF COURSE I have sensitive skin! EVERYONE has sensitive skin on their eyelids! She claims she used oil and my skin will heal. Her exact words to me were, «it’ll heal.» I said it’s not even the money I spent, nor the fact that I look disfigured, but rather a matter of professional courtesy to own up to what she did and apologize. She REFUSED to apologize, saying these things happen and kept repeating I have sensitive skin. If she knew my skin would come off because of whatever delusional rationales she had, she should have told me before she started that she would not only take the hair off, but also the skin.
Are they proud of their work by sending their customers out like that? If this is their customary practice, then that is truly concerning since I’ve had many, many eyebrow waxes and not one of them has left me looking like a burn victim. And yes, I’ve been to quite a few Asian salons! Why would anyone go back to get any part of their body waxed if 1) the girl won’t wash her hands between clients despite there being a sink in the back, 2) not one word of hello, or how would you like your brows waxed, or any words at all, 3) defending herself by telling me that my skin is sensitive and therefore these things happen.
The audacity of her defensiveness! Come in, we’ll wipe germs all over you, tear your skin off, and don’t forget to tip!
I received my $ 12 back, but I also had to go to Rainbow Grocery to get skin salve. This hack job was clearly not worth time, money, energy, and now, skin.

Walked in while waiting for my car’s check up at Toyota and was provided service immediately. Small but super clean, quiet, bright, and inviting. I appreciate that they open a new set of tools for you and that everything is so sanitary.
My manicure was great at 15 $ including tip, which is what I pay at Sensi. This is now my second favorite manicure spot, right under Sensi Spa in the Sunset (my #1 absolute favorite nail salon in the city).

I got a pedicure here almost three weeks ago and the nail polish on my toes is still perfectly shiny and intact. Kind of amazing, considering I’m constantly walking into things, stubbing my toes on coffee tables, etc. I don’t think a pedicure has ever lasted me this long!
The service was thorough and the shop is very clean and well lit. Bonus points for the massage chairs, free tiny water bottles, and neon fish tank in the back.
