Self-referred a month or so ago following a gout flare-up(ouch x 10). Was able to secure a quick visit — next day. Check-in paperwork was straight forward — I arrived 15-min early and walked into the doctor’s consult room pretty much on time. Dr Khoury has a great«bedside manner» and — I believe — made a sensible diagnosis without resorting to expensive and likely unnecessary tests. Appropriate medications, etc., prescribed and a follow-up consultation pointed to everything being back on track. Insurance billing seems to be both accurate and timely. Small office, predominately Russian/Armenian I sense, but«all welcome» as they say… very much recommended. If my right big toe subsequently falls off I’ll probably drop a star or two but until then…

I had a little trouble getting in contacting Dr. Khoury, i’ve almost given up. But it’s not her fault, it was the clinic. I was recommended to her by my primary doctor. I saw her at the Fremont clinic, where she bounces to and from SF twice a week. I was a new patient, so this was my first time meeting her. She is really nice. She’s had that homegirl appeal; you know, when you first meet someone you can just have a conversation about anything. Maybe it was because she understood that i was hearing impaired and i had trouble understanding speech. She was very accommodating with my disability. It’s very rare to find a nice and considerate doctor. ANYWAYS. I had a very minor procedure that i felt needed to be taken care of on my right foot. Result: Dr. Khoury aspirated a cyst. A very common diagnosis. She was very elaborate about the problem and steps to fix the problem and very detailed about what to expect after. She is very aware of what she is doing. The procedure was very quick, not painful, and very fast. Also, she specializes in diabetes(foot). I totally recommend her for any foot related consultation. YAY, yays! + Easy to talk to and takes her time– has a small talk with you to to «get to know» you + Very knowledgeable + Elaborate from beginning to end + Knows a little bit of sign language + Quick and easy aspiration procedure, with all the details you need to know — very careful + Answers your questions + Gave me a medial excuse for work(just in case) *that shows she cares Neutral: = She is only at the Fremont clinic twice a week. Her primary office is in SF. = By appointment only. NAY, boos!(Fremont Clinic) — The Fremont clinic hung up on me 4 times from mid convo to first pick up while trying to make an appointment. — The waiting area is real claustraphobic-y: there is this HUGE display case that only has 2 things inside it, really unnecessary. — Staff is okay, they could use a little more sunshine smiles, even if they have to fake it.

Dr. Khoury took me as a new patient and I love her. I am training for the TNT, Nike’s Women Marathon and have awful blisters. She was very helpful and took time with me… very sincere and helpful. She is a great podiatrist. Update: I still like Dr. Khoury but she didn’t solve my problem. I went to Dr. Sanders after Dr. Khoury and she has solved the hyperhidrosis/friction problem I have.
