I really like this store. Small, but the inventory changes frequently and you can always get reasonably priced stuff. They have a nice eclectic mix of items. The women who work there are really nice and helpful. I go here about once a week to see what’s in stock. Also great basic tank tops and leggings.

Shawna and Diana get 10 stars! … I’m a huge fan of Shawna with the blue eyes and Diana with the short, dark hair (at least the last time I was at the shop). This isn’t the kind of place I’d normally shop but I was walking by last month and I seem to have wondered in. Of course I hit the sale rack first, and with help from Shawna and Diana on this and my return visit the next day, I ended up with a bunch (a really huge bunch … a ginormous bundle) of fabulous clothes that not only fit me well, but have also garnered lots of compliments … and didn’t break my bank. I even went back a third time to buy two dresses as gifts for my sister.
8÷13÷15 — Time to go back to get ready for school!

I love Clobba in the Castro! Always find something, whether I need it or not. Super impressed with the staff; the girls are always accommodating and steer me in the right direction! If I’m in the Castro, then I’m going to Clobba!

I was recently at Clobba during my visit to SF. I notice there are a few things wrong with this store. First of all my credit card was charged twice!!! My transaction was for $ 34.72 and later that day I noticed that my bank account reflected two transactions pending from this store. One for my purchase and another for $ 42.42!!! Second, I noticed the girl at the cash register gave me two receipts one dated 9÷7÷12 (???) and the other 3÷10÷13 both with my cc info on it and the amount of $ 34.72. Third, I noticed that both receipts have different phone numbers one is disconnected and the other is a mechanic shop!!! WTH?! Of course I notified my bank ASAP and waiting on my refund!!! So much for trusting this store with your credit cards :(

Nice shop with cute selection. Nicer pieces are around $ 100+ and there were jeans at $ 40 with sales in the back. Some soft pre-​shunk tees for only $ 5.

I love Clobba because they have the hottest new thing at a better-​than-​forever-​21 quality with excellent prices. Well-​accessorized hipster staff are friendly and helpful. I love coming in here for a quick new item when I can’t afford to visit my best friend, Marc Jacobs. I always get sucked in by the displays with well their well put-​together ensembles.
Just this weekend I got a headband, a shirt, a vest, a belt, and a skirt for under $ 100. So I used to mock the Clobba near UC Berkeley, I can’t help it, this location has me converted.

I would give Clobba an additional half star if that was an option. Clobba is not super cheap, but I have found some good bargains there, like a 30 $ coat, $ 30 dresses, fun shirts and a sweet wood rose ring for a dollar. For some reason this store is way better than the Haight street location. It’s never crowded (see: women’s femme clothing store in the heart of the Castro) and I like the area. Some items, like a 100 $ vinyl jacket I saw, are overpriced but I always find something there.

Walked in there randomly… not much of a shopper, but everything was on sale, the boy at the counter was fun and sweet, and I got a great jacket out of the deal.
Not sure if the sales are always happening, but I would recommend for someone looking for laid back, quasi trendy clothes.

I’ve seen this store on several occasions while dining in the Castro and always wanted to stop by. So after a brunch in the area that consisted of way too many mimosas, I suggested that we stop by here while we were walking around.
This place has an eclectic collection of everything that is currently «in». I got really lucky and found an ADORABLE dressy hoody that was marked down to only $ 20. SCORE!

This was one of the first stores I went to in San Francisco before I even lived here. I use to work in Noe Valley which lead me back to this store a lot. Most of the time I find something I like but a lot of their stuff is a little over priced. Some how I still find myself wondering back in from time to time. I am pretty sure this is one if not the only store in the Castro that sells women’s clothes but please correct me if I am wrong.

Since I was a little middle schooler taking the bus, I have had to walk past Clobba, which inevitably led to me going in and buying many outfits that I now wonder what I was thinking… blue plastic pants… really?
However, their sale rack is always full of basic staples, like tanks at super cheap $ 5 prices…
I admit to being a window whore… put something in a window, and I’ll probly buy it. Just yesterday I about a beautiful blue green silk dress and a mock horn necklace that are going to make the boys drool from here… So I’m not saying you can’t find fun pretty things here, just that they aren’t the best quality, and the prices have gone way up, and really, shouldn’t be as high as they are for the quality.

I have actually been a big fan of the Clobba mini-​chain for quite a long time. But this location isn’t quite as good as the one in the Haight. The selection isn’t as good and the employees look like they’re about to fall asleep at the counter. (hmm…ideal environment for a kleptomaniac? I think so!)
What I’ve always loved about Clobba are the reasonable prices and the kind of off-​beat one-​of-​a-​kind pieces that you used to be able to find there. But, it seems the last few times that I’ve been, it has been really hit or miss. It seems they’ve become too concerned with carrying trendy stuff and that’s not what I’m interested in. I could go to any other store for that. Do I really need to be bombarded by more skinny jeans in yet another clothing store? No! It’s over! Let it die… So, that being said, I’m really crossing my fingers that Clobba will have itself a glorious comeback and will once again find itself on my list of favorite San Francisco stores.

OMG. i’m super embarrassed to admit that i actually shop here, but the secret’s out. clobba is entirely too cheesey for me. their clothing is insanely cheaply made, built to last for approximately ½ of one season, and trendy as hell. that said, i have made a few key purchases here that i LOVE. the key is to not convert your closet into a clobba annex, but rather wait for your moment and go for it. for me, it was a pair of purple jeans and turquoise shades.

Pretty great selection of hip, reasonably-​priced clothes. Far more interesting and fashionable clothing than a typical hipster skinny-​jeans-​and-​striped sweater store, and for pretty sweet prices. I bought a navy silk dress with huge white buttons and beautiful white embroidery at the bottom a couple weeks ago for $ 20 and wore it to my students’ prom! A good mix of unique and trendy, I’d say.
Clobba is a great place to go if you’re in a pinch and need a cute, inexpensive dress for a party or event. They also have sunglasses, accessories, bags, etc. to complete an outfit. The quality isn’t mind-​blowing and the space is a bit limiting, but all in all, a good place to buy cute, if temporary, girly clothes.

All the stuff is cute, but it’s basically all from downtown L.A. and marked up a few hundred percent. No complaints, I’ve gotten a lot of cute shit here over the years. It’s owned by an Australian guy who owns 5 or 6 stores on haight street.
p. s. once in a while if business isn’t amazing, they sometimes have spur of the moment sales for one night only, where everything is 50% off…

Clobba is like H&M lite. Actually it’s a cross between utilitarian in that Sears kind of way Old Navy and hipper-​than-​thou H&M in the budget way. I like that I can find trendy clothes here that don’t require me to wear a shirt size that’s 8 times bigger than my pants size because I’m not 12 years old. I always manage to find cute things on sale. And there’s another store around the corner! Surprising that two stores specializing in women’s clothing would predominate in the Castro.

When you need something trendy and cheap but don’t want to take yourself downtown to Forever 21, I suggest coming here. I bought some cute staples and merely spent $ 35 which was a bargain. It’s not the greatest quality but the staff is friendly, the décor is funky and cute and there’s a pretty decent selection with huge sales.
