Kathleen made our day! She did an excellent job with our wedding flowers with minimal direction. We sat down with her once and communicated the vision and it was spot on for the big day. Can’t tell you how much we appreciate the experience and the final product — everything looked amazing. We can’t recommend Columbine Design and Kathleen any higher! THANK YOU.

Kathleen did our flowers for our wedding and I couldn’t have asked for a better florist. I’m not very creative/​artistic and so I came into our meeting not knowing exactly what I wanted in my flowers. I met with Kathleen and discussed my ideas as well as my setting and bridesmaids dresses. She was really good at helping me narrow down exactly what I wanted (and as an added bonus she even helped me decide on my bridesmaid dresses!) She has a great overall artistic sense and was exactly what I needed.
In my opinion the bridesmaid flowers colors looked perfect with the setting. My bouquet had a nice pop of pink and was the modern sophisticated look that I felt matched perfectly with my dress.
I didn’t want a whole huge flower «saga» as an alter because I felt my setting was beautiful enough and I didn’t want the natural view to be overpowered by flowers, but I wanted something. She provided me with pedestals with beautiful arrangements on top that were just subtle enough, yet still something there to make it special.
I also shared my pintrest cake page with her to give her an idea on flower arrangements, but honestly didn’t have too much time to spend on it. She was able to easily take my ideas and provided flowers that made the cake come out even better than I had hoped.
She was punctual with the flowers on the day of the wedding and brought them to their respective places (my suite, the baker and the wedding site) without any problems.
Kathleen was quick to respond anytime I reached out and was very friendly and easy to work with. I was working on a relatively tight flower budget and she was willing to work with me on my budget as well which is typically unheard of with weddings and was awesome.

Kathleen is the best. My office gets a new flower arrangement from her every week. It’s one of the only things I look forward to on Mondays. Her arrangements are always tasteful, unique, and most importantly, never «generic-​looking.» There’s nothing worse than going to a florist and receiving an arrangement you could have just bought at Safeway.
Also, she’s quick and knows her craft and the city well. One time I forgot about a birthday and I needed an arrangement with daffodils ASAP (they HAD to be daffodils). She searched around the city and delivered an impressively elegant but simple arrangement within a few hours.
If you need something impressive, definitely give Kathleen a call. I wouldn’t go to anyone else.

Kathleen has been my local NorthBeach favorite floral Designer for years.
Although we cant go into a shop, Ordering by phone has never let me Down.
I tell them what Im thinking and they just floor me everytime… Big Thank U’ssss…

I was in a pinch and needed to send flowers pronto. I really like spending my money on the smaller shops so Unilocal’d a local florist for North Beach and got Columbine. What luck. She was so very friendly, took down what I wanted to spend and came up with a couple of ideas: all sounded perfect. I told her to run with one and low and behold, my friend called the next day in awe of what arrived to his desk: a perfect orange and yellow arrangement of happy flowers.
For a boy to be impressed with flowers… says a lot.
