I had heard about non-​violent communication for years and was mildly interested, but after I heard rave reviews for this class from a friend, I decided to try it out. Newt is an amazing facilitator and together with Aly, they make quite the team. They are funny, engaging, give fantastic real-​life applications, and plenty of time to practice with partners. Before the class, I thought of myself as a pretty good communicator, but the class brought to light things I hadn’t realized I was doing to perpetuate conflict. I now have my communication dojo tips to help me navigate situations with even the most difficult of people — what a lifetime gift!
