Cove, owner nice why? She gave me a necklace and other stuff so close to my condo! Love her place, spot and others! Her first spot, it was horrible!!! Now? Better!

Love this shop! The selection of candles is amazing and they have tons of local, natural scents. Succulents are beautiful as well, and significantly less expensive than other stores in SF(though you will pay a premium for candles of course, but they are well worth it). I’m also impressed with the service. You aren’t bugged to buy things and are free to browse at your own speed. They even managed to find me my favorite candle stashed away somewhere when I thought it had sold out. Norwegian wood– buy it and imagine your home turning into the perfect cabin in the forest. So glad this jewel is part of my neighborhood. Definitely worth checking out.

This is my favorite shop in San Francisco! I’ve made it a point to stop by at least once a month and will not leave without purchasing an item. I have been to both locations(Xapno and now Cove). From Jean to the décor, you could tell she spends time and puts in a lot of effort to showcase her green thumb. She makes every experience truly special like the plants and little gems sprinkled throughout the store. I am always looking forward to visiting. Please go and support this local treasure… You won’t and can’t be disappointed.

love this place! If I go to a party with a gift from this store — everyone asks where I it. It’s such a pleasure shopping there and the owner is a real artiste and always so great. I got a pair of very unique earrings there and they’ve been my favorite every day since. Enchanting floral and plant arrangements too. Coffee & Cove is a good Saturday morning.

Such a neat little shop. This used to be across the street and called Xapno. The same owner opened this new shop. Lots of unique plants and pretty trinkets. Happy it is still there.

While there are a great many wonderful plant nurseries in SF, it’s somewhat hard to find decent pots — esp ones that aren’t glass terrariums. Cove has a cute selection of pots — the shopkeeper mentioned that she also had to search high and low to find planters. There’s a bunch of other cute stuff in there from jewelry to hand creams to books and there’s also a light but well curated selection of plants and plant supplies. We got an awesome terra cotta orchid pot that will grow moss on the outside. We enjoyed the store!

As a lover of greenery and slightly fussy plants, as well as a bug enthusiast, I quickly became a fan of Cove. Its selection of archival-quality framed insects(and assorted other exotic critters) is impressive and professionally put together for reasonable prices. Plus the owner will wrap anything up for you in lovely paper and ribbon. It’s definitely a more expensive place on the whole, so take a walk through if your looking for art books or quirky gifts.

I am the Unilocaler who created this business page to help put it on the map last year. I noticed it wasn’t on Unilocal anywhere, and so I added it. Someone who claims to be the owner of this establishment keeps haranguing me about deleting a photo of the storefront I uploaded a while ago because they didn’t consider it presentable, and it was of the old location. They didn’t bother adding updated photos of the store front and making it the main store photo themselves. This makes me wonder if this person(named Jean, if they are indeed the owner) hasn’t figured out how to do it yet. They sent me a message about it that was polite enough… but then sent me Unilocal«compliments» that had comments demanding me to take down my photos. Disturbed, I deleted them before I thought to take a screencap. I explained to this person(a new user) when they sent me the first private message, that the point of Unilocal is to present honest information and reviews without shop owner bias, and bothering users to delete photos of a store front(even if it had moved locations) isn’t very ethical. I find the owner, Jean,(if they are indeed the owner) sending me multiple messages urging me to delete my photos taken of the outside of the store pretty inconsiderate. If this is the way they conduct business and handle their potential customers, they’ve lost my patronage.
