The crab sandwich is overrated! I mean yeah you can definitely taste the freshness of the crab, but for 17 dollaaahs?! Neeeeh. Was definitely worth trying for our first giants game though!

Eh. It’s good. Just not mind blowing like everybody else is talking about. Honestly, it tasted like a pre-made sandwich. I could care less about it and much rather get a hotdog at another stand, next time. If you really want a true crab sandwich, best if you go outside the park and to other restaurants like Woodhouse Fish Co.

3 stars. Will update or leave the same our next visit. it was 17 $ for a small sandwich w/crab. & for the location it was fine, but what made it too expensive was the fact that is was cold, &17 $ for a cold sandwich is a no go. Being premade it was still the , It just would of been a lot better if it was fresh & warm. I finished most of it, but my girlfriend didn’t even finish half due to it being cold even though she barely touched it we both agreed to give it another chance but this time we’ll wait for a fresh one lol Updated 7⁄2 4 stars so much better

Ordered the crazy crab’z sandwich for the first time. It tasted pretty good though the sandwiches were pre-made, so it was not like it was hot and fresh off the grill. I wouldn’t normally pay $ 17 for such a small sandwich but I had a $ 25 splash ticket to burn. What really ticked me off is when I went to purchase some other food later the cashier told me I had no value left on my ticket. I had to walk all the way to guest services to get it fixed. They told me they rang up the full $ 25 at the crazy crab’z stand. Even then they couldn’t just add the $ 8 value I should’ve had on my ticket. They had to have someone escort me to the concession stand to get what I want. I didn’t even use the full $ 8 and didn’t want to bother finding out what to do with the remaining amount. I missed a good portion of the game. All this trouble just because one cashier at the Crazy Crab’z stand depleted my full splash ticket value. My advice, always ask for a receipt showing the balance of your splash ticket after each purchase.

Best crab sandwich ever!!! Came to a Giants game and the guy next to me was having one of these. It looked so delicious I had to ask him where he got it. We were sitting at the bleacher section and he said it was just right up the stairs. I had a bite and omg it was so delicious! Best $ 17 I ever spent in my life. And it was a decent amount of crab. Definitely your money’s worth!

Omg when I say they crab sandwiches are on point… let’s just say you will stand outside in the cold… shaking and freezing to get this sandwich. It is so fresh and big pieces of crab. I was shocked at the quality at the stadium. Will definitely buy again!

You’re seriously missing out if you don’t get the chance to eat this during a Giants game. My cousin insisted I try the best crab sandwich she’s tasted– and«best crab sandwich» is an understatement. I was very fortunate to try this piece of heaven– a generous serving of succulent Dungeness crabmeat and warm tomatoes in between toasted butter brushed(more like smothered) sourdough bread. I could hear a chorus of angels sing on my first up until my last. I already felt like a winner devouring this in all of its glory. I seriously did not want it to end. This is definitely spectacular stadium food. Did I mention the price? No? Well, let’s not talk about it and instead enjoy this blessing on earth.(Honestly, at $ 16 – 17, it’s totally worth it. With the amount of crabmeat, you’re getting what you’re paying for. And besides, the only chance you get to eat this is by going inside AT&T Park so it’s not like you’re gonna indulge everyday– but I would if money grew on trees).

OK yes… a crab sandwich is $ 17 here… and yes… it looks small — but it is SOSOSOGOOD, and totally worth it. I can barely finish the whole thing — so it is pretty filling! Note: you don’t have to wait in line at the crazy crab — you can wait in any line in that same row of stands, and order your sandwich there :)

It looks small, but you get a decent amount of crab and then you have to factor in the ball park mark up… For me, it could’ve used a tad bit more salt and/or a side of chips :) other than that I think I made a solid choice choosing Crazy Crab’s! Note, you can order the Crazy Crab’z from the other stands/kiosks within that row… and order things from the other stands as well! So if Crazy Crab’z line is too long, look for a shorter one. We also got the fries from one stand over, not bad for steak cut fries!

Attended my first Giant’s game at AT&T Park as a new SF resident, and I knew EXACTLY what I wanted to eat: a grilled crab sandwich. This place is located on the 2nd floor, right behind the jumbotron screen. It was quite the trek getting there, but so worth it after I had my first bite into that buttery, creamy goodness. It’s lump crab meat simply mixed with some mayo, topped with a tomato slice, sandwiched in between two buttered slices of grilled french bread. TIP: You can order the crab sandwich from any of the connecting food stands. So jump in the shortest line!

$ 16 for a 6″ crab sandwich. It’s tasty and worth it but I do wish it was a little bigger in size. The crab is super fresh and the bread tastes and feels like it was dipped in a garlic hinted butter before toasted. #hellaoily but #sobomb FYI — there’s technically only one stand that markets the crab sandwich so the line is always really long. However, to the surprise of many, every single stand adjacent to the crab sandwich one sells the sandwich(row of 6 – 7). Gone are the days of long waits pining for greasy crab bites. Head on over to the stands next door selling lame fries and chicken fingers and I promise you’ll have your paws on it in 50% less the time. Then you can cruise by the long line of noobs with sandwich in hand and act like VIP.

Expensive and small crab sammies($ 17), but oh so good! The garlic bread is nicely buttered and toasted and the crab meat is creamy and perfect. Enjoyed every bite of it and would totally splurge on this again!

NEVER again. Crazy Crab’z = Crazy Runs & we’re not talking baseball. I’ve been a long time fan of this place, and have always seen their crab sandwiches as an indulgent treat at a baseball game. I had one last night & was treated to Crazy Runs this morning. I would let the company know directly, but I couldn’t find any way to contact them via the web.

Probably the best specialty food item at AT&T Park is the incredible Crazy Crab Sandwich at Crazy Crab’z. Ironically named after the much hated Giants mascot from the 1980’s, this version is immensely more popular. They put a warm Dungeness crab salad into sourdough garlic bread — with a tomato slice — and serve it to fans at the game. The stand looks like 4 individual stands, but you can order the Crazy Crab or any other items at any register along the back of the bleacher patio. The sandwich is just awesome. You can actually taste the real crab with a decent portion. The sourdough garlic bread is messy, but adds extra richness to the sandwich. There are other options including a shrimp sandwich and an open face grilled ahi tuna which also look very tasty. Clam chowder in a bread bowl and decent wine and beer options are available. The price of $ 17 seems outrageous, but most Dungeness crab sandwiches outside the ballpark are expensive anyway. The premium and experience are very reasonable. If you are visiting AT&T Park for the first time, this is a must. You can also pair it with a nice Anchor Steam or Junipero gin & tonic from the nearby Anchor stand. Go Giants!

I feel like, you know that you’re going to pay an arm and a leg when you go to «entertainment venues». I’ve never gotten a crab sandwich, anytime I’ve been to AT&T Park… which is a lot of effing times. I came to a pre-season game with my friends. We were late, we were dropped off at the opposite entrance than where we were sitting. Luckily that night, we were sitting in the bleachers… right by Crazy Crab’z. The line was long, but we were starving. Obviously, if you go at peak time, which is when we did… you’re looking at about a 25 minute wait. In the big picture, that’s not long. And like anything worth waiting for, it doesn’t last that long. But if you have some good company and maybe an alcoholic beverage, it goes by faster. We finally got to the front of the line. My mouth was watering from the smell of garlic bread. I decided to treat my friends to the sandwiches and sodas. From what I’ve read, prices have gone up to $ 18 a pop for the grand champion dish. For three of those bad boys, two non-alcohol drinks and a beer, it was around $ 75. Like everyone else has said, it’s the size of an appetizer for most of us. I’m glad none of us shared. But it was amazingness in my mouth! I tried to eat it slowly so I could enjoy it all. I’m trying to remember it, I fully enjoyed that sandwich. It will be hard not to go over there every time now for a «starter» dish. Don’t be like me and wait ten years before trying one… just do it.

If you want something different from the usual ballpark food of hot dogs, nachos, fries, and pizzas, Crazy Crab’z crab sandwiches are an excellent(though pricey) alternative. $ 17 for a measly crab sandwich is highway robbery, but so is everything else at AT&T Park. The sandwich overall is small and not very filling. However, the crab is delicious and creamy, though loaded with mayonnaise. The downside is that they made fresh crab look almost like canned crab, as my meat was mostly in thin shreds and lacking any large chunks. The buttery, herb-infused, crispy grilled sourdough bread was perfect though. Yes, Crazy Crab’z was worth a try. No, I will not buy it again. I’d rather spend my money on garlic fries at AT&T Park.

Among the food that is available to the Promenade patrons(not club sections), the Crazy Crab is one of the«only in San Francisco» options that has been around since the park’s inception. It has become a signature item along with the Garlic Fries and the Cha Cha Bo for those who don’t frequent the park more than a few times a year. While I have migrated around the park over the last 14 years, the Crazy Crab still entices me with its buttery sourdough bread. Yes it is a long walk behind the scoreboard from my seats near the dugout. Yes the price has gone up 50% to $ 16.75 for a ball park food item. Yes the sandwich is about 20% smaller. if you eat the sandwich you know it is gonna be delicious. The price of crab has gone up along with the prices. I do have to say the lines have gone down and for that I am thankful. For those who want more seafood options they have a shrimp roll sandwich which is overflowing, calamari, and a sourdough chowder bowl. I do wish they had a location closer to home plate. Btw, my other food favorites over the years at the park include the Original Joe’s burger, the Sheboygan, and the Caesar Chicken Wrap up on the Club Level.

A great place to hit if you’re looking for something besides the typical ballpark fare. I love seafood, so when I read about Crazy crab’z, I had to check them out! It’s located on the promenade level upper center field. Since I had already hit a couple of other food stands, I decided to get the Bridge crab & shrimp sandwich($ 13) instead of their signature sandwich. It’s actually a pretty big sandwich with a good amount of crab and shrimp! I just wished the bread was toasted so the sandwich was warm. I was expected it to be similar to the Crazy crab’z sandwich except with shrimp. Otherwise, it was still a good sandwich! I’ll probably be back next time I’m in the park to try the Crazy crab’z. It just looks sooo good!
