I’ve had several things done after I found cushion works. My couch wasn’t firm enough for me so I gave them my cushions and they stuffed it professionally with the best kind of stuffing. When I got the cushions back, they looked brand new and were much more comfortbable and no more wrinkly spots.
When I got a daybed, I had problems finding a decent mattress, so I turned to cushion works again. I got a cushion cut to size, width & depth, and it’s really nice and comfortable as well. I’ve slept in the day bed as well as any guests and they all find it super comfortable.
Great service. A lot of options. Highly recommend.

I just pick up that one cushion that I dropped off to them last week. Looking at it now they’ve done pretty good job. All the edges were nicely define. Heck I had the sofa about 30 years and I don’t even remember how those cushions suppose to look like anymore. I’m very glad I didn’t sell or throw my sofas. I just dropped off 2 more cushions to them. I still have a smaller sofa with 2 more cushions to repair. I’m very excited because it’s almost like having new sofas again without buying them all over again. If I could find them new, it would cost many thousands due to the workmanship going in to it. I don’t see new furnitures are as well made any more.
If you have very nice sofas like I do, I recommend just save your money and get them fixed instead of buying new low quality sofas.

Great people to work with replaced the foam in my outdoor sofa cushions and turned into an incredible and comfortable outdoor sofa. The original cushions that came with the sofa were lame. They were reasonable cost and beat their schedule with a quick turnaround. Highly recommend!

The folks at Cushion Works were so wonderful! I wasn’t able to use their services since I needed a cushion with a cover, but I called and Gary kindly emailed me a helpful list of other places around town that could help me out. Will definitely give CW a call when we’re in need of cushions!

Wow… just wow. We have never liked our couch. Always too soft where when you sit down, you sink in which sounds heavenly, but n reality it’s annoying and just uncomfortable and we needed something more firm. So after a few years, I wanted to see if there was something we could do about it. Never fun Wadmitting you spent thousands of dollars on a dud couch. we spent a whole day at Crate and Carrel (where we bought it) waiting and waiting for service and when we got service, it wasn’t great. The salesperson’s information as to what we could do was wayyyy different than what customer service told us that morning. Anyway, waste of time. Found this gem on Unilocal and finally made the trip in on a Friday after calling them (thank you summer fridays bc the only tough part is that these guys are not open on weekends). The service was impeccable. They spent time with us, answered every one of our annoying questions. They gave us quotes, never pressured us and were completely about telling us to start with a small job (meaning don’t even refill all cushions, try one first). But we just got so excited to fix this stupid couch that we went ahead and replaced the two cushions we brought in. Picked it up a week later and YIPPEE — we LOVE how firm our couch is! Price was totally reasonable, service excellent and saved us from buying another couch. Now we probably will go back and change out the foam for other cushions that we didn’t ask to do the first time and the only wish would be: please please please open even ½ a day on the weekend. It would be so much easier. Because you really do need to spend time in there to understand your options. Thank you thank you thank you Cushion Works! What a great business model.

My couch is in good shape but the cushions needed to be refreshed. I scheduled a meeting with the Cushion Works team and agreed to the right stuffing and price. The process took about 10 days and when I picked up the order the staff helped me load the car. The service meet all expectations.

We bought a very expensive Restoration Hardware couch with down feather cushions. It was super uncomfortable and not supportive at all. I was referred to Cushion Works by a restoration hardware staff to custom make more firm cushions. I called Cushion Works and the lady who answered was super knowledgable and told me my options but I’d have to come in for more info. When I went in, she gave m several options for my couch cushions ranging from reusing my materials to all new cushions that were enclosed and all different pricing that met my budget. We were asked to sit on some sample cushions to find the firmness that we wanted. It took about 2 weeks to get the finished product and it turned out better than I could’ve imagined. It took our saggy couch to crisp, pristine firmness. I highly recommend this place. The only downside would be the hours are only mo day through Friday til 4:30 so it was kinda inconvenient if u have a job.

Extremely rude and condescending staff here at the store. When attempting to simply collect pricing information with rough measurements, the rep became one of those extremely difficult people (think condescending and passive aggressive) to work with that gives every reason why they can’t, throwing out technical specifications and all other kinds and reasons and became very irritated when I didn’t know everything there is about foam.

This is the BEST cushion place EVER!!! Susan is so helpful and knows so much about cushions, foam, padding that it blew me away! I had a large u shaped window seat to build and Susan not only had information & suggestions on firmness, cleaning, life span and the design consideration… she also gave me sample to take home to sit on! The Cushion Works is the WORKS!!!

We just had our cushions repaired for the chair and the couch. Must say the service was great, very friendly and gave us different options. The repair was done in a timely manner at a very reasonable price. Great to do business with a local small business.

I just pick up a couple of couch cushions that I had Cushion Works repair for us. They did good job with the work, but would really stood out and prompted this review was their customer service. What could have been a frustrating situation with locating my cushions turned into a great experience. Susan was able to not only work with her staff to locate my cushions but gave me a great demo on how to maintain my newly redone cushions going forward. Moreover, I also got a fascinating story about the history on the factory building they are located in (1906 build after the quake) while I waited. It truly was a great experience.

Gary does a great job with providing a quick-​turnaround on high-​quality foam for restaurant chair upholstery. We’re always in a rush and he always comes through. Very helpful in the decision on which foam to use, and the pieces are always perfect. I’ve used Cushion Works three times and will definitely use again!

I just picked up my foam cushion for my couch. It was done faster than promised. It looks great and it’s a pleasure to work with these guys.

Susan helped walk me through the options to make a set of cushions for my mid-​century modern danish teak sofa. She was super-​helpful, patient and gave me all the options letting me decide on which to go with without trying to upsell me. That said, I went with a more expensive option. She was focused on solving my problem and I appreciated the low-​pressure approach. I wish all customer service experiences were like this! I highly recommend Cushion Works!

I was referred to Cushion Works by Room & Board after I wanted to get firmer cushions put into a sofa they sold me. Gary and Susan at Cushion Works were very professional and took the time to talk to me and make sure I would end up with what I was looking for.
The results were perfect and much better than what I was able to source from Room and Board. Cushion Works even had to invent a construction method in order to get the final result to match the original! They also recycled the original cushions so I wouldn’t need to dispose of them myself.
I’d recommend them to anyone needing custom cushion replacement or restoration. My only complaint is that they aren’t open on the weekends which makes it hard to stop in if you work during the week, but the results are worth the inconvenience.

I heard about this place at a talk given my the interior designer for Pottery Barn. She recommended it highly as a place that gives cushions, sofas, armchairs, a second life. Met Gary who took time and showed me what I could expect. he was so nice and thorough. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It was a bit more expensive than I was led to believe but I love my sofa (17 years old from Z Gallery) and I am so looking forward to getting the new seat cushion in a week.

The cushions on my Room and Board section were getting mushy after 5 years of wear and tear, so I brought them in to Cushion Works. Gary spent about 20 minutes diagnosing the problem and making suggestions for replacements. He also told me that I should check with Room and Board first to see if they could replace them. Sure enough, Room and Board does have the pillows in stock and I ordered them.
Gary was very helpful and I really appreciate his candor about contacting Room and Board first. I will return.

They made a great dog bed. I got to pick out the heavy duty (washable) fabric. $ 85. Not bad, since pet stores sell for this price and the quality is no where near this. Nice too.

I came in a couple months ago looking for a new cushion for a chair I wanted to refurbish. I was helped by the most wonderful woman who not only cut the foam perfectly, but also coached me on the right way to install it and the use of batting, etc. She even drew me a diagram of the proper and most effective way to staple the batting.
SO great!

Recently had a window seat cushion made @ Cushion Works and am overall very satisfied with the service (the owner — I think Susan) presented me the options in a calm and knowledgeable manner and the end-​product is great (very good quality — will last and look good for years). My window seat is totally comfy with the down top.
