D & R Vie EN Famille

D & R Vie En Famille is a Japanese owned family grocery store that has a lot of Japanese specialty snacks and a variety of dried ramen bowls to choose from. They have a small kitchen where they prepare lunch sized boxes of sushi and teriyaki sandwiches that you can take to go or eat at a couple of tables they provide. I’ve been stopping here every now and then to pick something up for dinner when I don’t want to spend a gazillion dollars eating at a restaurant or when my appetite just calls for a sandwich. I love the relaxed atmosphere that lets me eat my sandwich or sushi in peace with a decent cup of coffee that they also serve. I gave it five stars not because it’s a place you should bring your date to, but because everytime I find a place that provides great food without breaking the bank, they should get a «woohoo!.» And who says you can’t bring your girlfriend here? Bring the paper, order sushi and green tea for brunch, why not?
