He is not expensive but don’t go to him. Not only you waste your $ 100 weekly, he is capable of destroying your life. I’m Japanese, and I went to him with my husband who is American. During session, he was so unfair to me, I had to yell at him to shut up. He also said to me his girlfriend was Japanese, implying that somehow cancels out being a chauvinistic monolingual. What a horrible human being. And he stopped a few minutes short because he put himself in a bad position. Divorce is what’s up.

I went to Dan for several years. He is always non judgmental so that you feel really comfortable that you can say what you need to. He has always been very fair with his billing and helped me over the phone a couple of times without ever billing me. He is the voice of reason and always finds a solution to difficult questions. I think he does a really good job of getting you to think about things. It is not so much about what he tells you but rather, what he helps you see in yourself.

i started seeing Dr Kugler in 1982 after my separation from my then husband. Over the years I would see him at difficult transitions or uncertainties in life. He has never steered me wrong. His advice and counseling brought a maturity to my life approach to important relationships and within my own self. He does shoot from the hip, so to speak, and says it as it is, not coddling his patients. The people I have recommended, and there has been many, have also found an experienced, wise and professional therapist who helped them live a better life. The only few, very few, who found fault were those really not ready for soul searching. Did or do I always agree with him? No. But time has proven his advise and insights about the human nature is spot on. There is a review here where the person thinks Dr. Kugler flirted with his then girlfriend. From other clients I know, this is total news to me. Never having heard it before. I’ll ask around especially the single and available women I know who have been to him. Need a caring, wise and get to the point therapist? Without hesitation, i recommend Dr. Dan Kugler if one is prepared to make changes to live with greater rewards. A good counselor for men and women.
