Awesome New«Kid» On The Block! SITREP Let me put it this way: what totally rocks about this new spot is that it is NOT Cat Club(8th& Folsom) and it is NOTDNA Lounge(11th& Harrison). THESETUP Don’t get me wrong — it’s totally awe-inspiring to have both Cat Club and DNA Lounge on the scene in San Francisco for this movement & vibe. But you can *burn out* with just these two venues being the only locations that anywhere 10 – 14 different club events are hosted. Finally there is a new spot! DEATHGUILDSATURDAY What I love about this new synergy is: 1. It’s Saturday, and NOT regular Death Guild Monday(which is as hard as hell for me to try to make since I have something called«a job»; 2. DJ Sage, DJ Decay, DJ Joe Radio and DJ Melting Girl are ALLHERE for the Saturday event! 3. TWO different rooms to dance in to mix it up 4. Boggsie is doing bar @ The Main Bar 5. Only $ 5 to get in before 11pm What I hate about this new set-up: 1. Parking is worse here, but at least the inexpensve Mission St. public garage is just a few blocks away and only charges $ 1.50 per hour. 2. Seems to be more rampant police patrols, but I blame THAT on the nearby 1015 Folsom venue because they are more, well(how do I put this nicely…) «GHETTO». MUSIC Same fantastic mix of Industrial, EBM, Gothic, Dark Wave, and Electronic. PIZZA DNA Pizza is an embedded business in this same building. Get your carbo-load on! THELOWDOWN Looking forward to dancing in The City on the weekends!
