What’s with those two little airplane cookies they give you? Such a tease. I walked off the jet bridge with cookie dust on my lips, craving an adult sized cookie so I was thrilled to see Dogpatch right across from the gate. They had a display of pastries and sandwiches behind a glass case and of course my beady eyes went straight to the cookies. I almost fainted at the price but I needed my cookie fix and it was worth every bite. It was a compact disc sized cookie, crisp and buttery with a bold chocolate flavor. That chocolate chip cookie was the perfect pre-baggage claim nibble. When a couple slivers of airplane cookie just won’t do… Dogpatch to the rescue!

I was drawn in by the beautiful displays of healthy and fresh foods. i opted for the salads to get some greens but was very disappointed. The dressings were off(one tasted like straight mayonnaise) and it made me nauseous. So word of advice, avoid the«creamy» looking salads!

My husband was busy chowing down on a salad from here when he gagged and spat out a beetle. A BEETLE. A live beetle. Yes. I’m all for eating bugs, but somehow I don’t think this was an intentional added crunch.

Decided to stop here since it was close to our gate and never again will we come here. I ordered the butter croissant and it tasted like it was a couple of days old. My friend ordered a plain bagel and cream cheese and the bagel tasted burnt. The fruit cup they provided as well didn’t look fresh at all. We were better off stopping at Burger King.

Salads were surprisingly good for airport food and refreshing after typical high fat travel food. If you’re feeling something light before a flight, go with this place.

This is the worst breakfast place. I got their plain bagel and black coffee. The coffee cup leaked. Their plain bagel and cream cheese costs 5.95, almost 6 dollars for a bagel and cream cheese! Not to mention the bagel was only toasted on the edge, and the inside was still extremely cold. They put way too much cream cheese that I had to scrape off the cream cheese to eat cold bread. This is the worst breakfast experience that I’ve had at an airport.

I visited here while waiting my flight to Hawaii. There are couple cafes and restaurants around. I only wanted some thing light because I feel a little sick after having Chicago style pizza. I pick up their salad because it looks healthy and has very variety ingredients in each salad. They are a little pricy but when u put in your mouth. U feel it’s totally worth with every penny. However I don’t like the attitude of the staff in cashier. She swiped my credit card very hard with couple times. So when I get my credit card back, the credit card number was half off… I told her the situation. She didn’t feel sorry about that… Well, the food is good. So forgive it.

How could you go wrong with a turkey sandwich on rye? It seems like a safe choice… but not here. I try to avoid eating at the airport as much as possible because it’s always very expensive and not very good. However, I thought I could keep it simple and play it safe with a turkey sandwich because I hadn’t eaten in hours. The bread was soggy and he turkey meat was dry. They also toasted the entire sandwich with lettuce, which made the lettuce gross and the entire sandwich smell terrible. I wouldn’t typically leave a review for an airport stand, but I would suggest just waiting in line at the Burger King.

Dogpatch Bakehouse is located in Terminal 1, near Gate 45/Delta Airlines. I spotted pizzas, espresso drinks, sandwiches, & pastries, but I went for the side salads, which can be purchased in any quantity. My two came out to about $ 8: – Arugula w/dried cherries, goat cheese, & pecans. Perfectly dressed w/vinaigrette. A bit wilted, but didn’t affect taste. – Asian noodle salad, served cold. Had a bit of green onions & peppers running throughout. If I was hungrier or if my flight were longer, I might’ve added the beet or kale salad. I so appreciate the 5 or 6 decent, healthy salad options. Love that the packaging was compact, & easy to tote around. Will make Dogpatch Bakehouse my go-to spot before boarding when I’m flying Delta.

What’s up with all the haters? This is probably the best airport food(taste & value) I’ve ever had. It’s hard to find healthy options and veg protein at airports, and so I’d go out of my way for this(which I did). 3 salad options + a side of tofu is enough to feed two people. The farro was my favorite, thanks to the brightness of the lemon zest. The tofu was likely selected by someone who actually eats tofu — not the jello-y bland mess you get at most salad bars but nice firm, marinated tofu. The chickpeas in the kale salad seemed a little stale(the crispness might not hold up well in the moisture) and the smoky seasoning on the butternut squash didn’t taste quite right, but overall the different salad selections made for a great plane meal. Btw, they’re super fast for those of you rushing to your gate.

Don’t let the name fool you… this is not hipster cuisine. My breakfast burrito had what tasted like powdered eggs… it was pretty bad.

Cute little café in the United Terminal. Good, hot coffee. Great cheese danish/croissants. Not totally outrageous pricing. They have a healthy cold salad bar(behind glass that only employees touch, thank god) that you can get a mix of decent stuff before you’re trapped in the air.

Definitely overpriced but it is an airport so I didn’t expect it to be cheap. The line was very long but the service was quick so I got to Order and then receive me food in an timely manner. I kept it simple and ordered a toasted bagel with the sundried cream cheese. Definitely the best cream cheese! Your meal comes with a tiny cup of melons.

Airport food is never pleasant. This one turns out to be ok. A little bit pricy but I can bear with it. I got one spinach egg white wrap and a chicken salad sandwich on raisin bread with an iced coffee to tide over my long flight. The wrap is pre-made, and they can toast it as you order. Chicken salad sandwich is in a little box, the kind which you can get as deli style. The spinach wrap is meh but the chicken salad on raisin is tasty and fulfilling. The sandwich has good amount of chicken breast without much mayo mixed in. It is at the back of the terminal, next to American airline gates. Overall, not a bad choice for airport. Just be prepared to wait for a long time for your food cause the service is extremely extremely slow.

ENVIRONMENT This one is located in terminal one and offers a large selection of salads, sandwiches, wraps, pastries and drinks. SALAD — very large portions, ask to try before ordering. Kale — this is the best of the three items I tried. Seasoned well and refreshing. Squash — not my favorite, but could be a preference. Beets — prepared perfectly. Though the description indicated gold beets, this wasn’t in the mix. DRINKS To-go wine and beer, AMAZING!

Finding a good food at any airport is always a challenge. I spotted Dogpatch Bakehouse & Caffé, and they seemed to have pretty good selection of bakery goods, so I decided to try some from here. They had all sorts of bakery goods to choose from. They had plenty of bagels with several fillings, fruits, croissants, muffins… I was happy to see so many choices! I got chocolate croissant, muffin, and a bottle of water. Unfortunately, they looked much tastier than how they actually tasted… The croissant was so dry, I was hoping it to be so much better… It was not great, but it was not horrible. All of the sandwiches they had looked pretty yummy, fresh, and healthy. It is good to have that type of option at the airport. I don’t mind trying one of their sandwiches or wraps next time I am at the airport. Read my full review of this place and food on my food blog, foodlovergirl.

This is probably the best place to get salad in Terminal 3. Your other options that are nearby in this terminal are Andale, Klein’s Deli, Max’s E.V.O.O. I’ve tried the first 2, and will now be going to Dogpatch to get salad prior to a flight. If you want variety in your salad, are indecisive on what you want to eat, or want to see exactly what you’ll be eating before you order, then this is your place. Just be warned that the workers seem like the slowest in the entire terminal. You think they would be vying for some award to see how slowly they can toast sandwiches or scoop salad into a to-go container. If you’re in a hurry, don’t come here — you’ll probably spend 5 – 10 minutes here. You can choose how many salads you want — the menu says each is 4 oz, but I don’t see anyone weighing anything(they measure it in a measuring cup, which is totally not by weight). I tried 3 salads: Arugula, Goat Cheese, Cherries, Pecans: Delicious, but not sure where the goat cheese is, unless they have dissolved it into the dressing or somehow miraculously slipped it invisibly. Still delicious, and the peppery arugula pairs well with the sweetness of the cherries. Brazilian Quinoa Salad: Delicious tri-colored quinoa salad with carrots Kale Salad: This has dried apples which pairs well with the kale All in all, slow service, but some of the better and healthier salads in this terminal. If you’re tired of eating soggy romaine lettuce with cherry tomatoes and cucumbers, come here. It’s not the cheapest and a few dollars more than some of the other pre-packaged salads you can pick up, but worth the splurge for something that is not as tasteless. Just be prepared for the super slow service. The sandwiches didn’t look that stellar to me, but I didn’t try them. I’ll definitely be back here the next time I fly out of SFO.

So this small cute café was using a real place in SF as its name, lovely! They not only serve fresh fruit/yogurt parfait, but also provide daily made sandwich(huge in size) and other pastries. There is always a line but it gets moving real fast. On the expensive side, same drawback as other airport food.

Meh! Grabbed 2 waters, 2 small lattes & a breakfast burrito…$ 28 Welcome to the airport Burrito was very bland & wasn’t a very good distribution of eggs to peppers & potatoes. They seemed to all be on 1 side or the other. Needed salt or pepper or *any* kind of spice! And side note — their food isn’t unique to the restaurant. These are the *same* offerings you’ll see everywhere else. Case in point: the pastries are from Max’s Lattes were just across the line of okay. Even with the extra shot, they were still watery & didn’t have a good coffee richness to it. Would hate to see how they tasted without the extra shot! Disappointed…won’t be back
