Fantastic gallery! Lisa and all the staff could not have been more helpful. The artists they represent are all hugely talented and Lisa is amazing at finding the perfect piece for your home. Highly recommend!

Like the majority of so called art galleries in SF, one does not have to scramble for words. For the first thing that comes to mind is mediocrity and inferiority. Mostly the usual abstract garbage, which any monkey or chicken feet can do. These imbeciles are great at their PR hack jobs though. This is simply hilarious.

They have some nice pieces but there owner is rude and unprofessional. As good as their art can be it is not worth dealing with people like this. Find another gallery!!!

I checked out the Dolby Chadwick Gallery because it’s FREE& I was in the City anyways. It’s in the Shreve Bldg & they have FREE covered mints by the security desk. Sweet. The gallery is on the 2nd Fl, take the Elevator! You can take pics — I asked. It’s a small gallery with 3 small rooms. There were 2 ladies working at the front desk when I was there, guess if you want to buy anything or have questions about the art. They have Water Logic by Ian Kimmerly that’s suppose to be worth your time looking at. Abstract artwork about remembering the past & being in the present moment — that’s what I read anyways. Go check it out for yourself. Don’t forget the FREE mints! Hrs: Tues-Fri 10 – 6 Sat 11 – 5

Dolby Chadwick is my favorite gallery in the city. Granted, I have not visited them all. Unfortunately, I think the art scene in the bay is not a great one, but Dolby Chadwick fairly consistently pulls in good work. Every once in a while, I will not be that interested in an artist they have, but I really enjoy the majority of their painters. Those who work at the gallery have a good eye for talent.

I LOVE Dolby Chadwick Gallery. They have great art, of varying styles, all displayed in a beautiful, light-filled space. I went to the opening for their exhibit for for Terry St. John, and actually got to meet the artist and hear him talk about his work. Some of his models were there as well. I like that Lisa supports up and coming artists, as well as more established artists. I’m also thrilled that one of her artists currently has an exhibit at the DeYoung: Stephen De Staebler. Lisa is very engaging to talk to, and also supports the community at large. Great place!

This is a beautiful little gallery on the 2nd floor of an office building. I came here for an alumni event featuring the«Heads» exhibit, with paintings of faces. It was a great exhibit, lots of different types of mediums from clay to paintings, featuring a range of emotions. The views of the downtown shopping district from the huge windows were also gorgeous. Great place to hold a small private event of 30 – 50 people.

Great unpretentious gallery that suits the seasoned collector and those just learning. Try to get there when Lisa Chadwick is in the gallery. Her love of the art and the artists is contagious.

Great attitude, young artists that aren’t over marketed, and a sense of humor about the craziness of the whole thing. The selection really is worth seeing, and Lisa does a masterful job of letting you fall in love versus promoting or cornering you. Excellent gallery

Nice gallery with a couple of my favorite artists however the overall mood in there is UNfriendly. Like wandering around a friend’s parent’s house when you were 14 and awkward.
