I’ve known Dr. Lack for more than thirty years: first as a classmate in the clinical psychology dept. of Syracuse University and later as a colleague. She is a highly skilled therapist: smart; empathic, interactive, with the ability to handle a wide range of human problems; and with particular interests in people struggling with chronic illness and pain management; in addition, she has a special interest in depression and anxiety, which can often manifest in a persistent sense of sadness and frustration that one has failed to live up to one’s true potential in life.
