Genuine service my wife and I both go to Dr. Fenton. He has great bedside manner and is very personable.

There is something seriously wrong with these negative reviews. I too have seen Dr. Fenton for over 30 years, and I continue to be very impressed and pleased with the care he provides. He does excellent work, uses cutting edge technology and runs an extremely professional practice.
He lets me know when a problem is developing, without ever rushing me into having the work done. He has seen me on a Sunday when I needed urgent care. When he had to remove a 2 year old crown in order to properly anchor a bridge, he didn’t charge for that portion of the work. And he has never suggested cosmetic dentistry, though heaven knows I would benefit from it.
Dr. Fenton is a very kind man, a gentleman and a truly excellent dentist.

Dr. Fenton was my dentist for years ever since I moved to the Bay Area. After several problems with very expensive crowns that he made not fitting properly, I finally wised up and went elsewhere. The tipping point for me was after my last annual appointment, I got a call from the front desk saying «you need a crown on that cavity we’ve been watching over the past year but didn’t bother fixing». HUH? I already had one crown that was so poorly fitted it had to be replaced and Ieven then that same crown eventuially still entirely off. So, I was weary of any more crown work frlom this dentist and It amazed me that this office made the conclusion that I needed a crown simply from looking at an xray without even trying to salvage my tooth. So I switched to another dentis and guess what– cavity fixed, tooth salvaged, NO CROWN NEEDED and my crappy crown that broke off was replaced — -at less than what De. Fenton charged.
Would not recommend this place to anyone. He’s a nice man, but, jeepers, avoid crown work at all costs if possible.

In counterpoint to the single review being here I have had Dr Fenton as my dentist for over 30 years and I have never had the experience this person had. I had braces as a kid with him, all my wisdom teeth removed, fillings special deep cleanings and no problems. Dr Fenton is highly professional and has always taken good care of me and my Mom has also been his patient for the same years as I.
Makes me wonder what was going on that the other person has such a bad time when I’ve never had any problem over several decades.

I’d like to give no stars but I can’t. Due to Dr. Fenton saying he could fit crowns on my teeth, I ended up with 5 root canals. He did such a poor job that at root canal #3, due to an ill fitted cap, my endodontist got on the phone and called his office. Then he gave me the card of his dentist, and told me to go to him. Doc Fenton also caused my husband to lose two teeth for the same reason. I would recommend you working on your own teeth before going to this guy.
