Elite Event: Beauty School @ Head Spa

Dry styling, Sugarfina gift cards and cheery hairdressers! fun time for my girlfirend and i. only thing i wish was different was more food options– we had higher expectations for a Unilocal elite event than just a cheese/​veggie platter and a couple bottles of champagne. i look to elite events as an opportunity to try new foods so this was the only lacking component.

I really enjoyed going to this event with some lovely ladies!
I wasn’t entirely sure where to enter for the event since the store shares space with another store. But I figured it out and walked straight in to the head spa area. It was nice to be able to sign up for a time slot so we could know when to expect to get or hair done. And the bubbly was nice to sip on while we waited.
My +1 and I signed up for the same time slot, but was called up to get her hair styled before I was. So I just sat on a couch waiting until my stylist was ready (while sipping some bubbly and chatting with a fellow Elite). Once it was finally my turn, my friend was actually already finished with her styling, so she just stood next to me as I got my hair curled and styled by the magical Robin. She handled my hair like a champ (and I do admit, my hair is wild). I came off the chair with a ‘do like Sarah Jessica Parker’s, and my +1 and I were ready to continue our evening in style.
Only downside was that there wasn’t much to nom on (not surprising since we were, after all, in a head spa) and not much mingling happened with other Elites. But I do know where I should go if I ever want a va-​va-​voom hairstyling!

This was a fun little event. It was less of a social, mingling event and more straight to the point.
I checked in with my friend and we signed up for two slots. We both got a hair done and it was really nice to have someone teach you about their products and how to do my hair.
Head Spa is in the back of Laline which was a little strange. They have chairs on two levels. The salon is simple, almost a little bare bones. The ladies are really sweet and helpful.

What an original idea for an event! I loved the friendly staff, the free flowing champagne and checking out the beautiful location of Head Spa! Everyone was very friendly and definitely made me realize that I need to get blowouts with the girls more often.

I’ve probably passed by Head Spa so many times and I’m so happy I got to check them out!
A chair was available right when I checked in. Mckenzie, the manager, was my stylist and she’s such a sweetheart and fun to talk to. She gave me volume and curls, and showed me how to achieve look too. She also used to teach so I’m definitely talking to her for all my styling questions.
The salon is located in the back of the beauty store. The décor is modern chic and clean.
I checked out their website and one of the services offered is a head massage. I’m coming back here next time I treat myself.

My first Elite event! Head Spa is in the back of Laline, a beauty store that sells lotions, soaps, etc.
I arrived right at 5pm, checked in (got my Unilocal bottle opener), and signed up for a time slot to get my hair done! After checking in, I was offered Champagne gummies from Sugarfina, a $ 10 Sugarfina gift card, mimosas, and chips & dip!
My stylist, Robyn, brought me upstairs, which has 3 more chairs. Three styles were offered: sleek, beach waves, and big & bouncy! I went for big & bouncy. My hair has never felt so light, bouncy and voluminous! I love it!
Robyn was so sweet! She was gentle with my hair, and even gave me tips on how to curl my hair. If I ever come back to Head Spa, I’m going to her!
