Excellent bar and excellent bartenders. The drinks are tasty and a great value. My wife and I had dinner tonight. The ribose was excellent and a value for $ 30. my wife had the caprese salad. It tasted okay, but it was super small. I mean really smalll. A few leaves of spring mix salad and some dressing for $ 10. A total rip and should be avoided. The bread sticks were an absolute joke. Get the ribeye and avoid the rest of the menu. This is my second time here and the last time my wife gets the ridiculous salad. I’m still laughing at the joke.

In town with my Elks member Friend. Went to check out SF’s Lodge #3 and Danny a thoughtful member gave us a friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour. I was very impressed with #3 and I may now join the Elks. What a great community.

My wife and I just had the most amazing wedding reception at the Elk’s Club. It was catered by Rick Babich owner of Rick’s catering. Not only was Rick and his staff professional but he made delicious food and created an amazing atmosphere for the most important day of our lives. Rick is also a really nice gentleman. We highly recommend Rick’s catering for any special event or great party. Thank you again Rick for making me and my wife so happy on our special day!

My wife and I had dinner here last night as guests of our friends who are members. I was blown away. The new chef and food staff formerly conducted underground gourmet meals all over the Bay Area and have chosen the Elks as the place where they’ve «come in off the road.» I had the best ribeye I’ve ever eaten, and as part owner of a popular steakhouse I’ve eaten many excellent steaks. The pricing amazes me most. For 3 times the price I’d have gotten 1⁄3rd the steak down at Mortons right downstairs. They also has an eclectic list of extremely high quality wines to choose from and the price of our killer pinot was $ 28. They are obviously running this as a cost-plus operation. Unbelievable in a beautiful old dining room with a great bar. The wait staff are as high quality as the chef. We are joining for sure. Sadly, I get the impression that the chef Tom will get a wanderlust and move on, he’s only been there a few weeks, but it will be fun while it lasts !!!
