The building is nice, and old. With that comes good and bad.
GOOD: Period detailing, friendly and competent security and maintenance staff. Good location. Huge windows. Seemingly reasonable rent.
BAD: The bathrooms haven’t been renovated in 80 years. You can barely wash your hands in those sinks. Weak electrical system (our entire four-​room office is on one 15A breaker!). Noise: the windows are single-​pane, so you hear the damned Trumpet Guy and every siren going by (which, because it’s on 3rd St, means the SFFD Company One trucks).
