I almost feel silly writing a review for an espresso bar in the mall outside of Nordstom but I’m just leaving this review on their iced mocha bianca which is better and a better value than Starbucks’ Iced white mocha, because they fill the Enorme cup about three quarters full before adding the ice and they even have thin straws so it lasts as long as one of those types of drinks should last. At Starbucks, they fill the Venti cup halfway and the rest of it is ice! My favorite drink when it’s done right but always lasts me five minutes at best!

I have just never been a fan. However, I do like their lattes. I just expect more from a coffee place. I would like more pastries and sandwiches if possible. Plus, the seating uncomfortable. The chairs are too hard and depending on where you sit the tables can be wobbly. I think the expectations of this place are a bit unrealistic because they are so small. My expectations are just high because I am use to coffee places having everything that I want and not being limited. It seems like the 1 person works here at a time which is not okay. This place despite its shortcomings does get busy and only having one person working here for long hours is an not OK. I am sure that the regulars do not appreciate this. I waited for a latte for roughly 10 to 15 minutes because there was only one person here. AREYOUSERIOUS!!! They need to hire some more people here so that these kind of situations do not occur, that is the obvious solution!!! Not a fan of the pastries because in the few times that I have had them they have been stale. That did not go over well with me. Especially since it messed with my stomach. I just cannot deal with stale food. If it is expired throw it away, RIGHT!!! This has happen on 3 occasions and I am not longer trusting their pastries at all. Just be careful if you come here. Make wise decisions please.

After a long day of shopping it’s nice to relax with a cup of chai and a delicious pastry. The baristas make satisfying drinks and work their butts off during crazy peak hours. It’s clean, fast, and efficient! Look for Amanda, she makes the best spiced chai lattes!

Better cup of coffee an much nicer than Starbucks, just no rewards card. Didn’t want to wait the long lines to get my drink so came here instead of my usual Starbucks. The line had a couple instead of the 10 that would had been in front of me. The cashier was a bit nicer instead of the fake smiles and the watery tasting coffee found at Starbucks, but need to pay a little more for it.

#1 spiced chai tea latte with soy. Service and attitude not as great as the one at Stoneridge mall in Pleasanton but eh. only there for like a minute — they take your order, you pick it up… they haven’t screwed up my drink yet and I haven’t left unhappy.

Always in style. That being a smooth and potent Americano with sugar free vanilla syrup for under $ 3. Judge Nordstrom’s fashion all you want. We can debate it over very good caffeine.

I like coming here for a coffee fix when I’m shopping at Nordies. It’s just easy to get to when the only store you need to go to is Nordstrom, plus you still get your points on your Nordstrom card. Mmmmm…honey almond latte. Sometimes this drink is on the sweeter side, but other coffee shops do not serve this drink as their specialty drink. So, I usually order it to fulfill my sweet tooth. If you want something refreshing, I order a Sunburst on a warm day, though it won’t satisfy a coffee fix. There are also tables and chairs right by this espresso bar, so it’s easy to relax from all the shopping.

I love, love, love what’s offered here at this café especially when you’re on a little break and need something really fast. What’s offered during breakfast that I usually get … — Ham & Cheese Croissant = A very beautiful, nice, large croissant which is a nice alternative to skimpy Cocola’s ham & cheese croissant. — Spinach & Mushroom Croissant = A nice, hearty, healthy could be a small breakfast oppose to a McDonald’s breakfast sandwich a few steps down. It was so nice, crisp, flaky. Just amazing bc I’ve never tasted something like this before. It’s nice if it’s warm too! — Yogurt Parfait = Most preferrable over Starbuck’s yogurt bc Nord’s yogurt doesn’t have that fake, overly extreme sugared syrup on the bottom as Starbuck’s has, and Nord’s is a larger portion for the same price. What’s offered after breakfast that I usually get… — Albacore Tuna Sandwich = I fell in love with their tuna sandwich. It’s fresh, but not too fishy. A nice healthy alternative as well aside from the McDonald’s next door. — Chicken Caesar Wrap = It’s fresh, but not too special, probably something you could make at home. Except the wrap they use is different. About the drinks. Ice Storms are so, so, so good! SOGOOD. WOW. I LOVE them. Many more options than Starbuck’s Fraps. Pomegranate Lemonade and Sparkling Pomegranate Lemonade are freakin’ awesome. I LOVE their drinks here. YUM. Disappointed tho that green tea is not offered here, weird.

I always have to stop by here when I leave Nordstrom because for some reason, shopping always leaves me parched. But, anyway, I always get orange juice and if they don’t have any out, they’re willing to make you some, which is a plus. Most of the workers are really nice, but sometimes there’s this one girl who always has an attitude. Don’t be mad at me because YOU forgot to give me a straw. And yes I will still say«Thank you.» Sometimes you just gotta kill ‘em with kindness.

I love the drinks selection here over the Starbucks in the food court. This is especially if I’m in the mood for a cold drink. They have a new favorite of mine, the raspberry lemon chiller. They also have some interesting lemonade variety, such as the pomegranate one which I just had.

«Shake shake shake… shake shake shake… shake your bootay… shake your bootay…» That, little rant has nothing to do with my review by the way… Totally random and unscripted. Probably did that because of my tidy little sugar rush that I got from my new favorite orange juice + vanilla + ice freeze concoction I have had from here several times. I’ve tried them at Stonestown while spending frivolously, and I’ve tried them at SF Centre, while… spending…frivolously. It’s like a suped up Orange Julius beverage if you’re into it. Not going to comment on the ambiance, it is in the middle of a damn mall. Service is prompt, and the chick who works here is very nice indeed…

All I wanted to do was hang out at Stonestown. I’ve always wondered about this place. It always seemed a little misplaced to me, amidst the throb of bustling people, it always stood out. Either way, I decided to take my chances and have a nice cup of something caffeinated. YES! I got the caramel macchiato. In reality, I probably should have braved the double or maybe… TRIPLE!!! shot, but I backed down. Delicious stuff! The baristas were nice. They were joking behind the counter, but courteous, respectfully, and polite. The drink? Excellent. I have no complaints. It was totally worth it and I would have paid up to $ 0.75 more for that. Maybe it’s because I didn’t get my caffeine that day. Delightfully flavored: not too sweet and the aftertaste was jolting! Just how I like it. I should make it a point to come back here more often. For caffeine junkies, it’s the perfect place, not to mention all the delicious looking pastries and the like.

2.5 Stars + Convenient After reading William D’s review on how they use«unfiltered hose water» in their drinks, I’m a little skeptical about ordering anything that’s made to order. I normally get their Italian Sodas here and this time I ordered it in Blackberry. Ehh, not my favorite. It tasted like there were too much club soda and not enough syrup. I like this place for its convenience so I will be back again!

This place has unfiltered hose water in their ice tea. I know because I worked there and filled it myself. I also know that they do not use sanitizer on their towels, or counters, something required by law. I also know that they put insecticide on the openings of the pastry case to keep out the fruit flies that accumulate because of the lack of sanitary conditions. Often this gets on the food in the back of the pastry case. While they do have a high score, the health department has NEVER checked anything other then milk temperatures and ensured the food case was cold. Something to think about before eating here. Take it from me, I know, I once worked there. Ask where the manager is next time you are there, 10 to 1 she isnt anywhere to be found to address these concerns.

Really three stars but the biscottis(sp?) were $ 2.25 a pop! I visit this kiosk probably once a year, during the holiday season. Located right outside of Nordstroms at Stonestown Mall. This kiosk is a getaway from the busy food court(i.e., since less crowded, less noisy, enough chairs and tables). It’s more relaxing to sit here, and it’s easier to designate it as a meeting spot with friends.

Great little spot for a quick break during a day of shopping, or just a meeting place to catch up with friends. Love their fat-free mochas and other specialty espresso drinks. While you’re there, indulge in a peanut butter chocolate cookie!

I love their hot chocolate. It’s the only thing I come for, and sometimes I even make special trips to Stonestown just to get a cup. I don’t why, but these bad boys are amazing.

Just as good as Starbucks! And right outside your friendly neighborhood Nordstrom! I love to get the Sunbursts(Orange juice+raspberry+Ginger peach tea) here! Mochas are good too. about $ 2.50 for a tall. The chocolate fudge drop shortbread cookies are also delicious! But stay away from the Pink Iced Sugar cookie… they LOOK good. because they are so pink and all, but they they don’t taste as nice. The mini packages of madelines always make a yummy treat too!
