SUCCESS! We wanted a «knock your socks off» event for a hard working team and Executive Chef’s Iron Chef competition, combined with the beauty of Thomas Fogarty Winery, filled the bill with flying colors. The setting was ideal, the weather fabulous, and the organization of the event stellar. Our group can be similar to herding cats, with an abundance of A types, and the Exec Chef crew kept everything right on track. Smashing success!

Charles and the Executive Chef team led a team building fun event for my group at La Honda winery in Redwood City. We were a team of 20 engineers and the event was a big success! The group was divided into two teams and guided thru an Iron-Chef style competition. Upon our arrival everything was nicely set up and ready for us. All ingredients were fresh and high quality. Charles and his assistant chefs were in charge and guided the event with a good blend of humor, fun, and actual cooking. This was followed by lunch that was served by the Exec Chef team. I contacted Charles to arrange this event with a very short 3 day notice. Not recommending this to others but I was impressed with how responsive he was and how he managed to pull it off. Throughout this process Charles was on top of all the details and did a great job organizing the event. All in all, this was a very successful team-building event, tastefully done, and left everyone happy(vegetarians included). Highly recommended to others. Thanks!

Wow! I have been responsible for planning events for my team for 12+ years now and this was by far the best thing we have ever done. My team enjoyed every aspect of our Iron Chef challenge from the cooking, the crazy competition which involved swiping spices and even potatoes if someone from another team wasn’t looking!) all the way to making the commercial for the food and the judging. It was VERY organized, you definitely get your moneys worth. This company is run by professionals that know what they’re doing. Charles Gall coordinated my event in Texas from San Francisco. It felt more like he was right next door and the event was perfectly executed by his team here in town. Highly recommend this one!

Well done, Executive Chef! As the coordinator for a corporate team-building event, I was impressed with Exec Chef’s flexibility to meet our needs, and their delivery of an outstanding lunch event. With 20 attendees, the host split up our group in two teams, which provided a casually fun level of competition. While cooking, we snacked on appetizers provided, and received instruction from a chef devoted to our team. Once completed, the winning team was chosen and we sat down and chowed down on our fixings. I’ll definitely be giving Executive Chef a call when its time to plan another lunch event!

Its always a little nerve-racking to have the success of your boss’ sales meeting hinge on someone you’ve never met before. In the weeks before Wally and his team prepared an Iron Chef-style scavenger hunt and cook-off for our(über competitive) sales squad I’d bug him with a litany of «Are you sure you already did ____» and he’d always respond with, «Don’t worry, we’ve done it a million times, its taken care of.» It was the easiest event we held and by far the most successful– since then I’ve used and recommended them for countless parties. The food is great – clients even ask for the recipes afterwards! They keep the wine flowing so even the culinarily challenged have a blast. Seriously, its the most fun you could possibly have within HR policy at any corporate gig. Paintball is over. Cook something instead.
