Good food, big portions, reasonable price, super friendly service, very accommodating!

1^st time trying this place out. I went Friday night and it was very empty. The hot line of food was all gone except for a few items. Because of that I got a Fried Rice Dish. I got the Chicken Fried Rice Dish spicy but unfortunately it wasn’t spicy at all. Huge portions! Which is great if you’re a student or just want a heavy meal.
Unfortunately the flavor wasn’t there for me. The fried rice was bland and had no flavor. I had to put some salt on it which didn’t even helped. The chicken was tasteless as well. I even put some Siracha sauce to give it that spice but it just didn’t do it. It was a big let down especially because I was hungry. I had to just eat like ¼ of it because I felt bad for having spent $ 8.
If anything the Bobba is worth it. My sister once brought me one from there and it was so good. But when I went the guy that makes them wasn’t there.
To be honest, I just didn’t like it. I wouldn’t recommend eating here unless you want to experiment. I only see myself coming back for the boba not for the food. Because of the boba I gave this place 2 stars.

I so wanted to love this place as it is close to where I live; but, I don’t. First of all, I ordered the food in advance with the confirmation from them that everything would be ready by 2:17p. I came in maybe at around 2:20 and the food needed another 2 minutes. The place was nearly empty except for 2 other patrons so it was a little odd that it would take more than 15 minutes to prepare fast food. Anyway, I ended up waiting nearly 10 minutes before my food was ready. The staff did apologize for the wait and gave me a complimentary hot&sour soup which was nice.
I ordered the Spicy Fish and I selected extra spicy, but that obviously was useless because it wasn’t spicy at all. Instead, it was super salty. I moved on to the soup which tasted nothing like the usual hot & sour soup. It tasted more like really bland gravy with Tabasco. This was complimentary so really it didn’t matter too much, but just don’t pay for it.
2 stars for the convenience and friendly staff!

I’m NOT a huge fan of Chinese food at all, but I can always give a few exceptions if they make certain things I’ll eat good. This place is okay with the taste when it came to some of their dishes. I wouldn’t come here having any expectations because you might get disappointed. I was disappointed when their beef and broccoli kind of sucked because their broccoli wasn’t fresh. When I did enjoy was the Honey walnut shrimp. The portion was small for the price, but overall it was good. What saves this place from a 3 star is the fact that their delivery minimum is SO low.
The guy that works the cashier is kind of slow. Hard to communicate with.
OH if you check in they offer a couple free small items.

Really great food! i got 3 entrees for 25 bucks with noodles or rice included. They were made to order so had to wait a little bit like 10mins or so, but totally worth the wait. The portion size is huge and an additional $ 1.50 gets you sea food. Great customer serviceDefinitely coming back

Was doing my laundry next door and found out about Fei’s kitchen.
I wasn’t hungry but I saw their sign said boba milk tea so while waiting for my laundry to be finished I HAD to try it. I ordered my usual taro milk tea… and I was surprised because it was really good. Not too watery and not too thick. The lady who made my drink was really friendly and took her time making my drink which I didn’t mind. I could taste the milk in the tea which I liked.
I’ll be back here when I’m doing laundry next door and also maybe try their food. I think it’s great that there is a Chinese restaurant in this area.

Went to this place to pick up food for a friend, as I walked in I admit I was kinda worried because there was minimal food left but rest a sure the owners told me they can make the food with just a short wait, so I gave it a shot the food was Amazing and the owners son is awesome! Who doesn’t want want fresh cooked food? If you guys don’t see it don’t be afraid to ask they will make it right away. Awesome place and very cool service thanks again for your great customer service man!

This place is bombbbb! If you never tried it I highly recommend coming here for lunch! Best to come around noon that’s when I came. Jackie’s the best server, very polite and knows how to talk to people. The food was super fresh and hot when it came out. I had orange chicken and chicken with string beans. It’s the best not gonna lie. Loads of food too so don’t worry about not having enough or still being hungry after. I’m also a SFSU student so you should try this place out after class if you have the chance. Super close by, walking distance. Get take out and bring it to class. You’ll be satisfied.

delicious food! fast delivery, A+ all around, minus one star to Unilocal app for ordering because even though there was a 25 dollar minimum for free delivery, we were still charged 3 dollars to delivery aside from tip and our order was well over 25 dollars. minor issue, but worth mentioning if you plan on ordering. I think Unilocal charges this? lame.
I will def order pick up or delivery if Im feeling like having some good Chinese food! Excellent food and delivery man was nice.

We were really excited about this place opening right next door. We’ve gotten something from here at least 8 times and the order has been messed up 7 of those times. There’s either a wrong item, missing item, or we would come pick up after calling 15 minutes ahead and they’ve forgotten to give the chef the ticket.
The food is inconsistent. We’ve getting the salt and pepper chicken wings because the first time we ordered it was good: nice and garlicky, and finger licking good. Following orders of the same item have been bland, drowning in garlic, no garlic but drowning in sodium, and once we got it and the portion was much smaller than usual. There is literally no standard.
We kept giving them chances, but we’ve been disappointed enough times that we will no longer be a customer here.

I ordered chickem chow mein, Mongolian beef, and orange chicken.
— the chicken chow mein was very good, altho could have some chicken next time, there were only 3 pieces in the whole order
— The mongolian beef looked nothing like the pics and were filled with onions, when I specifically asked the person taking the order to make sure that didn’t happen. The meat was dry and thin.
— the orange chicken was alllllllllll bread.
Overall, very disappointed.

Awesome! A great place for college students like myself because you get lots of food for a great price! The quality is also better than the surrounding chinese restaurants.
Their customer service is really nice too, very kind and sweet family running the place. I will definitely be coming back.

If u like the Panda Express, u will definitely love this place! I Strongly recommend it

Went here after my 3 hour lab just to check it out. Saw so many great reviews but are these even real or are these people just friends of the owners just to one-​up their star game? Lol
Anyways, went here to check it out, I told my friend we either try the new Chinese food or go next door to get Mexican food.
Got there around 4 and I felt embarrassed for the restaurant. There was literally no food on the line, and everything that was left of the food was rather crusty and dry in the pans.
We ended up going to the Mexican restaurant next door.
Hope I can give this place another chance in the future and I’ll definitely write an updated review

This place was so cheap, $ 7.5 for fried rice with 2 kind of meat & sometimes give free soup. They also sell boba in the front.

5 stars for the service and amount of food for your money. I was really pleased with the vegetables and the veggie variety. Nice, clean, and bright inside.
4 stars because there is always room for improvement, but honestly I give this place 4 ½ because there aren’t many places to even go to at the Daly City border. I hope they succeed!

First let me admit I love a good Chinese steam table and Fei Kitchen is an excellent steam table! I can not imagine better take out service.
Also, unlike many on-​line service take out Chinese restaurants they offer a nice sized «taste» of Sweet and Sour soup gratis. Also human sized portions in their combination entrée plates!
While their chow main, a favorite of mine, could be a tad less greasier (oil used to make it I suppose) – admittedly if it was «dryer», I probably would not enjoy it as much. Compared to the few remaining steam tables around this area, their beef dishes have fresh tasting slices of beef (likely brisket) and not over steamed broccoli. Their chicken dishes vary, but are all above par. I imagine bread covered sweet sauced chicken dishes are more difficult to keep crisp covered in sauce (the chicken inside has, for me, always been tender and tasty – as has any of their fried (w.o. sauce) chicken offerings. It’s too bad the sauce covered breaded chicken dishes cannot have their sauces kept separate and only added when ordered :/​
My only recommendation would be to add brown rice, onion cakes or Egg Foo Young (with or without sauce) and/​or Chow Fun (flat chinese rice noodles) to their choices.
THE ONLY REASON I GAVE THEM FOUR INSTEAD OF FIVE STARS, IS THAT I LOOK FORWARD TO CONTINUE TO BE A CUSTOMER AND WATCH THEM SETTLE INTO THEIR FULL POSITIVE POTENTIAL VERY SOON. IN THE MEAN TME – THEY ARE FOR QUALITY AND PRICE A «BEST BET»!!
Also as a former cook, I’m relatively aware of the cost of ingredients, vegetables and meat. Also I believe my expectations are justly different for steam tables than for restaurants; as most popular & special dishes at delivery bistros are mass produced during the day – most often daily and/​or combination specials – told to me by those who’ve cooked in these joints.
Open about a month (so still learning to improve their product given their foot and delivery traffic) they are a welcome addition to the heterogeneous (varied) population of Park Merced (comprised of hundreds – if not thousands – of SFSU students to hipsters to younger families to 45 + single and coupled long-​time (often retired, disabled or not high income residents) looking to count their pennies and replace cooking for take-​out of equal cost and less work.
I expect by New Years (less than 8 weeks away!) they will end 2015 with all five stars!

This place is really really good! I was kind of skeptical when they built this place and wondered if it was going to be too expensive based off of the location because I am in Collegetown town but the price is great, the food is great, the interior space is great and the service excellent! They also give good portions of food! I will definitely go back to this place the only issue I had is when I wanted to try the the boba drinks nobody was there to make it but no problem they gave me free hot and sour soup to make up for it so I shall go back to try the boba drinks!0

I was so excited to see that they opened a Chinese fast-​food downstairs! And to top it off, a boba bar! And to be honest, the boba there is pretty good (if I say so myself) and it really keeps my cravings at bay. Favorite so far, the Almond Green Milk Tea.
The food there is really good too, orange chicken and their drumsticks are what I got so far, and they are really good! The guy who works there gives you your money’s worth when you buy the 2 entrees+1 side deal!
