I was asked to write rate and write a review, and the 5 star rating is well deserved! Was here Sunday evening near closing trying to find new running shoes. Even though it was just about time to close the gate, Sam was still both very helpful, patient, and was more than willing to assist me past the the time, in picking out a great pair of shoes. Sam was also very friendly, and I appreciate her being sincere and genuine demeanor in helping me out. Will definitely recommend people to come to this Finish Line. Thanks a lot again Sam! Ended up with a pair of Asics(that were priced cheaper than the neighboring Footlocker). They seem a little snug but I’ve worn them outside not sure what the actual return or exchange policy is.

Brittany and Ivory gave excellent costumer service and got the plug! They sold me some solid soles for my Jordan Concords and they work really well! They know they’re directions around the mall and know how to hit the dab.

Went in today to return a couple of items I purchased online. Store was empty, and there was a guy at the register polishing up his kicks. He seen me approaching the counter and says can I help you? I tell him that I’ve got some returns, and he replies«oh no.» Not the oh no, sorry your purchase didnt work out, but the oh no i gota do a damn return. I was surprised by his reaction… my bad! So i say sorry. So he looks through my 2 items, a top and a pair of nikes. He’s hella checking out the shoes, which i had ordered on monday, they arrived on wed… i looked at the shoe… didnt even try it on… and decided i didnt like it so returned it on thursday. He asks me why im returning the shoes and i say that i didnt like them. I then look at his name tag cause im like this dude is being a real jackass and needs to get reported to the manager. RICH… alright got his name. He proceeds with the return and tells me if i have the email for the order because the price wasn’t on the package slip. I told him that i didnt have my phone(left it at the ofc) couldn’t he call the customer service line or put in my order # in their system. Unfortunately, my order arrived in 2 separate packages. He said the top wasnt showing up on the shoes packaging list and because there was no price, he couldnt process the return for the top. I’m annoyed at rich at this point. So i say fine do the return for the shoes i’ll return tge top at serramonte. So he finishes the return and gives me the refund receipt. So i tell him are you going to give me my original receipt back to… he says no, he needs it for their records. Ummmm what??? You have the order # for your records. I tell him i’ve got 2 other pairs of shoes on that receipt, what if i need to return those shoes? Im not going to have my receipt. He then hands over the receipt without saying anything. At that point i’m so heated and roll my eyes and leave. To the westfeild management… you need to retrain your employees(especually RICH) on customer service. Seems like im not the only one whos had a terrible experience at your store.

Worst customer support ever, don’t even bother going, just go online or phone call. Tried to make a return talking to the manager and couldn’t get anything done, told her that I already talked with support over the phone and they had said it was OK to return. She wouldn’t do it and discouraged me to make the call again. They resolved over the phone for me in 2 minutes, left there feeling disappointed.

I had one of the best experiences ever at the Finish Line– the manager is immensely knowledgeable about shoes and patient as we tried a bunch on for a half marathon and trail running, even staying 10 min past closing to help! Unfortunately, my flat feet made even the initially unnoticeable tiny arch hurt, and the store clerk and manager again facilitated my return seamlessly and with apologies for the pain the shoe had caused. Thank you so much for your help and fantastic customer service!

How odd that they only have a single Unilocal review. Anyhow, went in today and was immediately hit from different angles with what was attempted high pressure sales tactics. I am sure there were 5 employees, which means that to cover payroll and rent, they probably need to sell a pair of shoes each body, each hour. Not particularly interested in being considered a number, I’ll take my hard earned money elsewhere. I find these ultra aggressive tactics to be an extreme turn off.

Well I waaaaas going to say my fave thing is that the employee who helped me and all others working here were heavyish black chicks. #diversity #womenempowerment But then brahbrah hopped out the stockroom with a stack of shoeboxes. So I’m adjusting my favorite thing to their two or three Nikes that are actually #isitworthitlemmeworkit-able with my fugly sweaters, the fact they stock a few Brooks(!) and UA, and the soulful #youstayclassysanfrancisco music.
