Like Connie, Dr. Floresca has been my dentist my whole life. I am a rare breed because I enjoy going to the dentist for cleanings. It’s like a spa day for my mouth. The staff always welcomes you with a smile. When you’re name is called, the assistant makes you feel very comfortable and talks to you the whole time she’s prepping you. To me, that’s a plus if you’re scared of going to the dentist. Dr. Floresca is a master at his craft. Yeah, he does hum as he cleans, but that just shows his confidence in what he’s doing. If you’re still not convinced, you can watch him work by staring at the reflection in his glasses. But then again, he may think you’re gazing into his eyes, haha. I wish cleanings happened more than twice a year. Maybe I am a weirdo by liking dentist visits or maybe it’s because I have the bestest dentist. Try him out and see what you think: o)

Dr. Floresca has been my dentist my whole life. While going for a dental checkup/regular teeth cleaning isn’t my favorite thing to do, the amount of time I am lying in that comfy chair seems to feel shorter and shorter. Maybe I’m just getting old. I haven’t had very many dental problems, but the few times I needed more than just a cleaning, Dr. Floresca and his staff always made me feel like it was no big deal and not to worry, because they took care of it. Sometimes he hums to himself while cleaning, which adds to a bit of the ambiance they have there, since they are always playing KOIT throughout the office, and the sunlight from the windows(with Bernal Heights peeking behind the nearby firehouse) kinda lulls me to sleep when I’m reclined in that chair. Yes I have dozed off a little while getting my teeth cleaned and I’m not embarrassed because how can you not expect to drool at the dentist? It gets wiped up anyway! Minus one star for lack of parking(over the years we just end up walking from our house) but that’s kinda beyond their control. Over the years they’ve expanded their suite, yet the waiting room is still a bit small. Plenty of magazines though! Also remember not to keep the door open too long because the buzzer is über loud.
