This place is surprisingly awesome. They’ve got a weird selection of lots of things, booze, sodas, preserved jerky type meats. The craziest however are the large amound of Kinder German candy products and others from around the world. Scored this crazy French Almond beverage and a pack of El Sabroso chicharrones. Life is good.

This is the slightly boney, ungainly large corner store with nothing in it that is next to Popeye’s. It closes early, the days it is open at all. Two Stars for occasionally selling 40 oz’s with the $ 2 Out The Door sticker on them. Although I rarely buy 40s, I nonetheless am reassured by this. Also, the beer poster aesthetic here is more from the Hootchie Futbol school. A place where the Mickey’s Big Mouth Bee buzzes proudly.
Yet another place VERY well-​stocked on canned hominy.
Just up the street is Mike’s Liquor. Not-​Mike from that place, or whatever his name is, keeps the place open later and he has a mustache that is like a shiny black horseshoe. The best I can grow looks like a Cappuccino Stain. So off to Mike’s with you is my advice.
