Dr. Lee has always seen me for my emergency health issues: laryngitis, bronchitis, and other stuff… personal ;-) Dr. Lee may talk alot, but that is because he is getting to know who you are and what your do in life. We get along well and I can tell him things and he is very helpful and very good with billing.
I’ve seen Dr. Lee for years and he has been nothing but very fair, kind, understanding, and caring.

Good: he would see you in short notice.
Bad:
1) he will be late, for sure, consistently
2) doesn’t listen or even let you speak
3) he will talk, talk, and more talk, the appointment could have been done eons ago.
4) cash only, really? Hmmmm…
5) bandages cut in half to save money really?
6) extremely defensive

Dr. Lee is the best doctor I have ever had. He cares not just about your physical health, but your overall wellbeing and happiness. He gives each patient all the time they need and not just the scheduled 15 minutes other large practices give you. He explains to you why you are experiencing symptoms or what is causing your illness and doesn’t just write you a prescription and send you on your way. At one point I changed jobs and went out of network to keep Dr. Lee.

I can’t say enough about Dr. Lee. He is a rock star who most of the time answers the phone himself, sees me when I am sick in a number of hours (usually after hours), not weeks and is well versed in both Western and Eastern medicine.
He listens to your symptoms and thinks not just of the symptoms, but of the core problem (the 360 degree approach) that causes them too.
He speaks Chinese, Japanese and Spanish. More important than that is he speaks in layman’s terms explaining the process and how the body works.
He is my partner in health and my most valued find since moving to San Francisco.

Dr. Lee is how all doctors should be: attentive, caring, humane and puts the patient first. Always.
The first time we met Dr. Lee, we knew he was the right doctor. My husband woke up with a terrible fever and needed to see a doctor right away. After many other doctors in the area laughed at my husband, Dr. Lee, who picked up the phone himself during lunch time, told him to stop by the end of the day, and indeed, he waited after hours and saw my husband.
When I went to see him, I received the same attentive care. I didn’t have to wait too long, and he listened to me, asked me about my complete history and I never felt rushed. And to prove that we were not the only ones appreciating him, while we were in the waiting room, we saw waves of people dropping by, just to give him a gift and a hug.
He can treat patients in four languages and has a stories that will make you laugh. And obviously, laugh is the best medicine!

dr lee is a nice guy, but that isn’t the most important thing in a dr. my issue is that he never lets me finish what i am saying. i need a dr who listens to me. he interrupts any time he wants, and it makes me uncomfortable. but he gets an extra star for fitting me in when i needed it, not just when his schedule could allow it.
