This place is actually better than it looks. The place is filled with dying or dried up fruits and vegetables, because the owner is too cheap to toss the old ones. He wants to sell all his old ones before putting out the fresh. Well that is the fruit and vegetables. He is in fact one of the better butchers out there. He knows his meat and the meat are at a very good price, without the need to go down to Chinatown.

Definitely caters to the Chinese community. None of the produce is refrigerated and is laid haphazardly in random baskets and cardboard boxes. Prices are poorly shown and the cashier, who I assume is the manager manually punches in prices into his cash register and mumbles the final price which I always hear wrong. So why do I even bother to come? It is conveniently located next to a Walgreens and across the street from the Parkside library branch. And there are off chances where I can get fresh looking produce like okra and ginger for cheap. Good luck.

Super cool little asian market. Great prices on a variety of vegetables, meats, and other goods. Store owner is super friendly and always helpful. I live down the street, so I always make a stop here when I need something right away. Only complaint is that sometimes there are not-so-fresh items on display and the presentation is not so clean. But that’s common for these small markets that don’t have the refresh capabilities like Lucky’s or Safeway. Great for grabbing a few items for making dinner.

Good Luck has a grand opening sign, the inventory was diverse and it lacked depth. depts: frozen seafood, fresh meats, fruitsveggies, canned chinese and american grocerys, etc. buys: –soy bean milk 1.59 well known brand, no problem –cherries. 1.69/b higher than oaktwon but sweeter to. leftovers: –owner/manager very friendly, helpul –definitely would return.
