Gym Pact

This app is a great concept but has terrible customer service. They claim that if you report a problem with your pact for the week you will not be charged until the issue is resolved. What they don’t tell you is that their customer service response takes over a week and until they view your issue you will automatically be charged and you will then have to hound them for refund with lawsuit-​like proof and evidence of your issue for a refund when according to their app you shouldn’t have been charged in the first place.

Trying to contact gym pact is an arduous process. There response time is terrible. I originally signed up with facebook, however, I deleted my facebook account over a year ago. I was unable to log back in using the same username and password, that I used to enable sharing with facebook. There is a *member only* online contact form that only works if you can log in to your *member* account. They do not have any other means of contacting them (no customer service dedicated email or phone number) should you lose or forget your username/​password. This was poorly thought out by gym pact, perhaps, they are unaware of this issue??? I even tried to contact their media, promotions etc emails. No response yet after 14 days, & over 10 emails. The password reset tool hasn’t worked either. Still haven’t received any emails from them, even though their «
» is white listed. I’m not sure if this problem is unique to me (d/​t the facebook signup) or widespread; either way, I initially thought this app had great potential, and good ideas, I had previously rated them 5 stars, however, their customer service is severely lacking, and I’ve dropped their rating to a one.

And so I thought this would be a lovely idea, to get paid for going to the gym. It would encourage and motivate you to keep going. This why I gave 1 star, just for the idea! I tried to reach out to Gym Pact, and found out that it is a GOOGLE NUMBER that they have as their business number. That alone made me even suspicious. This NOT legit, and is hard to reach when something is wrong on their behalf. I was charged 3 times for $ 30 in one day. That should not have happened!
PLEASE BEWARE, of Gympact do not be fooled. I will keep trying to get back my money they took. They can keep the money that is supposedly earned for my attending the gym.
