There used to be nice and friendly people working in Gymboree at Stones Town, but not now. The lady and the guy are like VIP themselves. They are rude, demanding and opposite of being friendly. They don’t like to help, not to mention smile or eye contact. Not sure if it is because they don’t like the job or their personality or poor management of this store — they do behave like they are supported to be mean. It’s not pleasant shopping there. They should be removed or retrained before they can work with customers.

I shopped at this location three times, and ALLTHREEVISITS(these visits were at least 2 months apart from each other) I was told that there is no gift box nor wrapping paper tissue available… Is there a management issue here? People spend their time finding a right gift, but then to learn that their gifts cannot be wrapped/boxed like a gift? Just a bummer!

When they do have sales, you can really find great bargains. However the items that are not on sale always seem nicer… I try to never purchase any of their items at regular price sometimes you want to spoil the child, so occasionally I do buy something nice. The staff is friendly and always helpful. I usually buy things for other people so their gift wrapping and boxes do help.

Great shop to check out when they have sales. You can really find great bargains on children’s clothing here when on sale. I never purchase any of their items at regular price… just seems just a tad much to pay for something a child will quickly grow out of. Last year, my mom saw a costume the weekend after Halloween that was heavily discounted so she couldn’t help herself from purchasing for her granddaughter. Staff is friendly and helpful. They also give coupons that can be used with a future purchase. Little TV in the back to help entertain young childrens while parents/guardians shop.

We wandered into Gymboree to check out the clearance rack and found that they were having awesome sales(additional 50% off summer clearance prices). I found two adorable shirts for my son, that I had looked at earlier in the season but couldn’t justify spending their full prices on little shirts my son will outgrow in a couple months. So I was thrilled to hear about their sale today. I checked out, after doing the math in my head, and the total was higher than I had expected. I was going to let it go, but my husband told me to go back in and ask why I didn’t get 50% off each of the clearance priced shirts. I spoke directly with the manager, who was very, very approachable and friendly and available to me at the front of the store. The cashier heard our discussion and said that the shirt in question was only 25% off because it wasn’t summer and another customer must have put it on the rack with the stuff that was 50% off. The manager immediately offered to honor that 50% and seemed happy enough to do it. That is awesome customer service. They wanted a happy customer and went above and beyond to make sure I left happy. They refunded $ 3.25 to me. Now that’s not much money, no, but on my income as a full time mom to a toddler, it is. Fantastic customer service and their clothing quality is wonderful as well. :) I am a happy customer.

the cutest most DURABLE clothes — they don’t tear or fade and stains come right out. if you are smart and shop the sales its not much more expensive than anywhere else and once you get into 2T and beyond it is an amazing value. Always ask if they have more stuff in your sizes in the back — they usually do and are happy to get it for you. Yes, the store has less inventory than before they remodeled, but you can always go online and get everything you need.

There’s this hyper girl that works there. I think her name is Jhenny. She scares the crap out of me. I mean don’t get me wrong, she’s nice and all but just go over the board when she greets the customers. You walk in and start browsing, then all of a sudden you hear this, «HEYDUDE! HOWAREYOU!!!» Yep, she calls her customers«DUDE.» She’s too hyper and nice to the point that it makes you feel uncomfortable. I don’t even bother go in when I see her working. I think the clothes are overpriced but good when they really have sale going on like additional 30% entire store. Gymbucks is lame. Anyway, it’s just alright…

Athough our baby has yet to be born, I’ve been browsing around at all the baby stores I come across… just to compare selections, styles, and prices. I walked into Gymboree today and was very pleased with their current sale and style of clothing. I loved the cute outfits for boys and the pretty dresses for girls. Everything was so adorable! I bought a little surprise for my daddy-to-be with a unisex onesie that said«i heart daddy». Too bad our baby won’t stay this small!

Finally made my way back here after the grand remodel. Can you say, let down and anti-climatic? First of all they got rid of the counter. Now it’s a weird round table with cash registers. Looks like a sterile counter at a space ship. I don’t mind the new counter as long as they had more inventory but it looked like they got rid of a lot of inventory — at least their boys clothes. I think they carry more girl clothes than boys. Was looking around the sale racks and the only things that were marked 60% off were the girl clothes. Why is that? What a let down. They should have just left the Gymbo the way it used to look like. At least there were more things to look at in the older store!

Used to come here when my tots were still tots. They’ve got cute clothing, not the best quality made and some them were dorky looking. I like the quality better at GAP kids, but you don’t want to spend an arm and a leg for kids’ clothing because they’re out of them in a few months. They used to use a lot of bold primary colors: red, yellow, blue, green in their clothing. The store is currently closed for remodeling and their sign is directing you to their other 2 stores. Looking forward to the«new» look when it reopens.

When I had the first boy, ten years ago, baby GAP was the place to go and Gymboree was really dorky. Even their girl stuff was a bit… stuffy. But now I have a new baby boy, and baby GAP is dull and gymboree has a the cutest boy clothes. The sale rack is always packed– which is the best, because I hate paying full price for something that will be tooooo small in two months. They loose one star for the small spaces between the racks. Can be difficult to maneuver even the slimmest stroller. Everything is good quality– and makes excellent hand-me-downs. Its a good thing I had boys, because the girly outfits make me want to just hand over my entire wallet. Here, just take it.
