This was right by my hotel so I had no expectations, as I happened to go with a colleague – that bacon cheeseburger yo! I should have gotten the wings because they looked just as good, but I went with the bacon cheeseburger and had no regrets. It was big, juicy, and delicious. That bacon was on point too. For such a simple meal, it was quite delicious. Service was friendly too. I’ll definitely come back to visit next time. :)

They made the best wings I have ever had even though we showed up with 10 minutes to go before closing. I have been dreaming about these wings. They were that good. And very reasonably priced. Places like this restore my faith in humanity. Thank you. Garlic Parmesan.

Their wings and drums are the smallest ones that I have ever seen, but I’m still liking this place because of its down to earth vibe and variety of sauced up wings! They serve up burgers as well, but not as catchy as wings. Sports TVs for the win here, however, a small spot. They only serve non-alcoholic beverages. Decent fix to get the wings and games on here.

SUCH A TERRIBLEPLACE. I came here cause the pictures of wings looks good, got my wings and they were so small! Nothing like the picture, wasted my $ 9 bucks for 12 wings. Never again.

Stopped by here after watching the Warriors win game 7. It’s located in the Tenderloin with lots of other halal restaurants. I went against the grain and actually didn’t get wings. I got a CTK paratha wrap and it was absolutely heavenly. Big portion and everything was fresh and delicious. Also tried the tandoori quesadilla and it was very very solid. Prices were very reasonable and the service was very friendly. Will add this to the place of Halal places to visit in SF whenever I visit.

This place is so worth the drive from Marin to SF for some halal chicken wings. The variety of flavors they offer are amazing & you can never go wrong with the BBQ wings. I’m not much of a burger fan; however, the 415 burger is made for baydestrians. The menu serves all ages, and my little brothers love their chicken nuggets. Lastly, the pricing for the quality food they serve is beyond exceptional.

Ordered the bacon burger to go with a fries, called in the burger needed cut in ½ and medium rare, it ended up no cut in ½, well done, and saggy burger plus fries, big disappointed.

Wow, just tried the wings here(lemon pepper) and it is delicious! The wings are seasoned well and got lots of flavor. They are a bit small though, like wingstop, so not like buffalo wild wings. They are made to order and got combo if you want. I haven’t tried the other flavors yet but very much enjoyed the lemon pepper, will definitely try the other flavors next time. $ 9.00 for 12 pieces.

I am a wing connoisseur. As I try different wing places throughout San Francisco, I have come to realize that the wing is a thing of beauty, an art form if you will. With modest expectation going into Halal Wings Plus, I felt let down. The smallest order you can get is 20 piece wings, but you are only allowed 1 flavor. I need some variety in my wings and this place just does not do that for you. I got a 20 piece salt and pepper with a side of buffalo sauce. This is my way of getting two flavors. The wings were small, 5⁄20 wings were mis-shaped and not a full wing. Thanks for bringing a dedicated wing place to Nob hill, but I will hike it over to Wing Wings on Haight for my wing fix.

Had a boozy late night hankering for wings, and Halal Wings Plus was maybe a 2 minute walk away. The flavors on the wings were very good; I got the Garlic Parmesan, Mango Habanero, and some honey one that I’m forgetting at the moment. While the flavors were great, the wings were definitely a bit small, and somewhat overcooked. Probably a 4 star experience. However the chicken shawarma that I also ordered was completely underwhelming. Pretty bland actually, which is unusual for shawarma. We both had a bite or two and tossed the rest. I’ve been on a bit of a shawarma kick lately and this was probably the worst I’ve had in a while. Perhaps it is not fair to knock a wings place down a star for a non-wings item. But it’s on their menu and was $ 10 wasted.

When I stumbled into this place with my friends I hoped this would be a great wing place… Alas I was a little disappointed. I think this is a good drunk food place with all the bars right around the corner though… We got the 40 family pack– comes with four topping choices for $ 31– good deal! The lemon and pepper, and salt and pepper were our favorites– they were dry rub seasonings vs the spicy and garlic which were sauces. The spicy didn’t have hardly any heat to it and felt the two sauce wings were more messy than distinguished flavors. While the food didn’t really do it for us, the staff were friendly, and all the wings came with ranch dressing for dipping sauces vs charging extra for it. I think in the future I’ll go back after I’ve had a few more drinks in me.

Ordered the Jones St. burger with bacon and it was deeeeelicious! Absolutely loved it. Also got a 10pc order of Original Spicy chicken wings and thoroughly enjoyed it. Wish it wasn’t in such a sketchy location but a great option for halal food.

Wings are some of the best I have had in the city. My buddy had the burger and he said it was excellent as well. The mango habanero and the original hot pack a good amount of heat, which is awesome. Nothing too crazy, but its nice to have«hot» wings actual have a kick. Let me preface by saying I live down the street, so I am no stranger to these type of interactions, but I believe it is worth mentioning for the out of town types. While I was eating a local homeless woman came in begging for cash, when asked to leave she turned loud and violent and brandished a glass bottle from the recycling at the staff, while spilling garbage and soda all over the place. Politics on the homeless issue aside: This is the TL, know what you are getting into when you come down here.

Visited here on a short stop in San Francisco. Food was great and the wings were cooked and sauced perfectly. We ordered the 40 wing family pack and got BBQ Garlic Parmesan and Original hot. Docked 2 stars bc they had horrible ventilation(the whole restaurant was filled with smoke and we literally choked on it when walking in) and the staff was not courteous or friendly.

I was craving wings on a rainy night(what is it with rainy nights and hot wings?) so I did a Unilocal search and Halal Wings Plus popped up. I went with my friend to give it a try. The menu is very straightforward, and I like that they don’t have a million flavors of wings. They keep it simple. We ordered the Original Spicy and BBQ wings, along with fries. The Original Spicy had the perfect amount of spice. The BBQ was surprisingly tasty, and that is coming from someone who generally does not like BBQ sauce. The wings did not have much meat on them, but they were inexpensive, so I guess you get what you pay for. The fries were unimpressive. I think I need to try their halal next time, since that’s the other half of their restaurant name. Overall the wings were not that memorable, but it seems like a fun place to hang out. Decent amount of seating for groups of four or so. And apparently a good place to watch the game.

Hanging with a bud one night, we wanted to check out a new joint that opened up a block from his apartment. It specialized in chicken wings and what’s not to love! Walking into the place, I noticed stainless steal tables and wood floors, super clean place. When I visited, they just opened 2 weeks prior, so that might have been the reason. This was definitely new! The gentleman that helped me was also super nice. He made a ton of suggestions for me as there were a bunch of options to choose from. For dinner, I got the 12 piece wing order for $ 8. Out of the list, I chose the Garlic Parmesan, Mango Habanero and Honey Garlic flavors. All were flavorful and not overbearing. What I liked was the wings were still super crispy and not soggy from the sauce. Big win. I also got the 415 burger for $ 9 which was their classic take on a bacon cheese burger. Also served with red onions, tomatoes, lettuce and 1000 dressing, this burger was actually really good! All in all, I’d say it was a win. Going here in it’s opening months has it perks. I’m hoping that it stayed consistent throughout the months because I’d like to check that place out again in the future!

«Meh» is pretty accurate for this place. I looked it up and was really excited to try a small wing place that the locals seem to like. I’m a huge wing fan, and the prices were very reasonable, and the flavor selections were interesting. I tried the regular hot wings and the honey garlic, since I had seen that it was a popular flavor. The wings were small and not the best quality meat, and were cooked OK but not perfectly. The sauces weren’t anything special. Maybe I just picked 2 that weren’t that awesome, but I wasn’t really impressed. The ranch dressing served with the wings was OK, but I was surprised that a wings place didn’t serve blue cheese. Overall, I wouldn’t choose this location again for wings. I would come back and try some of the other food, since there are some great reviews and pictures of the burgers and such.

If I was just reviewing the food, it’d be five stars handily(maybe six!). The wings are easily the BEST I’ve ever had(they’re tiny, from free-range birds, so order more than you usually do), and the burger was fresh, flavorful and juicy. I do wish they’d serve celery; I love the crunch and coolness to balance the heat of wings. Their original hot is HOTHOTHOT so be careful(I ended up wiping a lot of the sauce off). But sadly, I have to remove a star because when we went in Tuesday around 7:15, there was only one table occupied and the place was FILTHY. The person behind the counter wasn’t doing anything, he should’ve been clearing tables, sweeping, disposing of the dirty dishes piled up along the bar and putting a new liner in the garbage. Under our table, I discovered a busted ketchup by almost stepping on the broken glass and sticky mess. I very nearly asked for a rag so I could clean up myself(years of restaurant work has conditioned me!). I should note the kitchen guys were busy the entire time, making phone orders, our order, and then scrubbing the grill afterward, etc. Additionally, the counter person didn’t greet us, look us in the eye, or give any advice regarding ordering when we were slightly confused about the menu.

50 wings for $ 32? SURE! Make it 100! Because it’s a halal restaurant, the wings are on the smaller side, no factory farmed chicken here. But what the wings lack in size, make up in taste. I got to sample all 8 flavor offerings they had: — Original: spicy kick, almost like if they just tossed sambal chili paste on top — Honey Garlic: sweet and garlicky — Garlic Parmesan: one of my favorite flavors — Mango Habanero: another favorite, had a good amount of heat! — BBQ: classic sweet and smoky flavor — Chili Lime: bit heavy on the tangy side — Lemon Pepper: definitely enjoyed this flavor too — Salt & Pepper: least favorite of all flavors, can pass on this next time They also provide a thick and creamy ranch with their wings. Celery and carrot sticks would have been nice. I definitely OD’d on wings this night lol.

The roommate wanted wings. Recalling there was a wing place by work, I suggested we grab take out from Wings Plus for dinner after he picked me up from work. It was Tuesday, November 17th and I called around 5:10pm for a pickup order at 5:35pm. Family pack: 50 pieces(5 flavors) $ 31.99 *Salt & pepper *Original spicy *Lemon pepper *Garlic parmesan *Chili lime There’s a note on their menus: The smaller the wings, the larger the portions. Our meat comes from animals that are cage free and are on veggie diets, no additives, preservatives, antibiotics, hormones or steroids added. The wings are pretty tiny. But there were 10 per flavor instead of the usual 6ish wings per flavor, so you are still getting a good amount of chicken. The meat itself is really moist and flavorful. My favorite flavors were the salt & pepper and lemon pepper. The salt & pepper were nice and crispy. The lemon pepper the same, except with a slight acidity. The garlic parmesan were a little too pungent. I wished the garlic was cooked a little more. The original spicy were like really mellow hot wings. Not very spicy or flavorful. The chili lime were my least fav. Too sweet and tangy. I wanted the lime to be subtler. It’s weird eating such tiny wings as I’m used to meatier ones. But those tiny chickens were delicious. I just wish I liked more of the flavors Wings Plus had to offer.

If you’re craving chicken wings, Wings Plus is worth trying. With 8 different flavors of chicken, I wish I could have tried them all! We got the 20 piece with two flavors– Original Spicy and Garlic Parmesan. Though the Mango Habanero sounded like a great option, the man helping us said it was spicier than the Original Spicy. Not for the faint of heart, we assumed, so we went with the Original Spicy. With that, I will comment that even the Original Spicy was pretty spicy so I can’t imagine how crazy the Mango Habanero would be. The Garlic Parmesan was my favorite between the two. We also got the Hipster Burger to share, and I will admit, it was a lot smaller than what the pictures on Unilocal portrayed so we must have come on a sad day. I probably wouldn’t pay another $ 10 to have it again. There was plenty of seating and we got our order fresh and hot. The prices are affordable which is a plus but I don’t think I would crave coming to this restaurant again.

This place is okay for veggie burgers, but nothing to write home about. Actually, I could have made this at home myself, and was actually expecting a «veggie burger», but I guess that was lost in communication. This place is pretty pricey for some bread, cheese, mushrooms, and condiments. I could have gone to many other places to get an actual veggie burger and paid less(just FYI, for all you vegetarians out there). I’ll definitely have to go back and try one of the parathas or the fish sandwich to give them another chance, but so far I’m not too impressed. But I hear the wings are awesome! Likes: –variety of wing and paratha options –fast service –halal options –cool concept(in theory) Dislikes: –limited menu –a bit pricey depending on what you order(and I don’t recommend getting a «veggie burger» from this place)

Not only is the food deliciously amazing, it’s so affordable and halal! And the service is amazing. I had to pray and they opened up their upstairs office for me. Then as I was eating by myself, this man came to solicit for something. Within seconds, employees came to break the situation. 5 stars.

I got the wings and the Hipster burger. For the wings I ordered garlic and pamesan which I really like it. I will give 4 stars for the wings but unfortunately I will gave only 3 stars because of the burger. I ordered the Hipster for burger which came with beef, tomatoes, lettuce, pickle, bacon(beef), avocado and came with fries. Beef is very dried, thin and not juicy at all. The bun is just a regular sesame bun which not impressed me, it justs a big bun. For fries I think it taste like the frozen fries from costco. Another thing is the homeless guy. I know the location of this restaurant is close by the tenderoid and will have some homeless walked around. While I ate the burger, a homeless guy walked close to me in the restaurant and asked for my wings or money and staff did nothing with him.

So I heard the bun kabab was amazing at this place. We went late night and I stood in the very long line and asked the cashier specifically, does this taste like a Karachi Bun kabab? the cashier said, yes. You cannot believe how excited I was since its a rarity to find one here. What I got was NOT a bun kabab. It was a sesame seed bun with an omelet, tomatoes, lettuce, onions(all in fat slices so its horrible in your mouth) and a mushed up shami kabab with only cilantro chutney. The bun was not warm and the cold veggies really tasted horrible against the mushed up shami kabab and omelet. They should have said its their version of a Karachi bun kabab. Super disspaointing and possibly the worst thing we ate in a foodie city like SF. Only giving two stars, because I like the place and concept. Also, should be open later.

A friend suggested coming here for dinner on a Tuesday. I’m not really a fan of wings, so I wasn’t particularly excited. I know, I know, it’s called wings PLUS. They really have a lot of the«plus» going on, with a large variety of other food items on their menu such as paratha wraps, shawarma, burgers and sandwiches, all with halal meat. I ordered the fish sandwich, which comes with fries. When my order was ready, I was confused and thought it wasn’t mine because the plate had two huge burger-looking things on either end, with fries in the middle. It was mine! I guess it was a huge sandwich cut into halves. Humongous portion for less than $ 9. I was only able to eat one half of the sandwich and the fries. The sandwich was very, very good. Crispy fish, flaky on the inside. MMMMM, really good!

I was about to write a review of Karachi Classics when ba-da-boom, ba-da-bing, this place turned into Wings Plus. Say what? Well, it was rather tired-looking compared to the much more popular Chutney and Pakwan nearby on Jones. I just remember it was me at a tiny table eating their tandoori chicken(not bad!), while a huge family took charge of most of the real estate and eating burgers and fries. Say what? Anyhow, when I came back a month later, it didn’t occur to me that this was the same place I had the tandoori chicken. It looks like the owners repainted the interior, spiffed up the colors of the menu, and made their staff wear tight-fitting black T-shirts. In other words, they’re going for a younger demo now. So instead of tandoori chicken, they now serve a tandoori quesadilla with fries, of course. But their big ticket item, the one they’re throwing all the marbles at, is their eight different flavors of chicken wings, none of which appears close to Rajasthan. There was mango habanero, garlic Parmesan, BBQ but surprisingly no curry variation. They are cutting the motherland for a bit of Tenderloin trendy. I succumbed to the hype but ordered rather boringly the $ 8 Salt & Pepper Wings(photo: ). I got an even dozen of rather tiny drumsticks and wings that were well acquainted with a deep fryer and a bit too greasy for my taste. Still the crunchy skin and white-hot meat still worked for gradual gnawing. My mistake was ordering a $ 2.99 side of French Fries, which frankly seemed redundant in its grease quotient(photo: ). A $ 2 piece of Paratha(flatbread) probably would have made a better contrast, or of course, a $ 4 Salad. Oh, who am I kidding? When they arrived in their TGIF-style baskets in the black-and-white checkerboard paper, I knew I was not having high-falutin’ eats here since these are really fast-food bar bites. Maybe I need to come back for the Chicken Nuggets(no ‘Mc” in that name) or play it safe and get a Chicken Shawerma. They even have a parklet set-up if you have the guts to eat on Jones with all the passing panhandlers ogling your wings(photo: ). Maybe their jazzed-up rebranding did work on me since I am so in their target demo now. Not. FOOD — 3 stars… everything was just too greasy for my taste but the bar bites have an appeal if you are in a party mood AMBIANCE — 3.5 stars… a new coat of paint helped lift the spirit even though it’s still a tight fit in here SERVICE — 3 stars… same service as before, no more, no less TOTAL — 3 stars… just kept wondering if the Tenderloin location is a good match for the fast-food revamp(shrugging my shoulders)

Had to give this place a try after seeing a couple other Unilocal friends check in and writing reviews. I can only comment on the wings as that is all we ordered. Stepped up to the counter and placed an order for a 30 piece pack($ 19.99) that gave us the option of up to 3 flavors. We opted for the Lemon Pepper, Garlic Parmesan and the Original Hot’s. We grabbed a few drinks and proceeded to our table. There is a very low key vibe about the place, there was a speaker playing top 40’s music and there were a few customers eating when we got there. There was about a 12 – 15 minute wait before our number was called and then it was on! I snagged a couple of each of the flavors and proceeded to chow down. The lemon pepper wings we some of the best I have had in recent memory, just the right amount of lemon to pepper ratio. The garlic parmesan’s we soooo damn delicious that I wanted to ask the guy running the counter if he would toss that sauce on some fries since they do not offer garlic fries on the menu. As for the original hot’s… At first taste I am thinking to myself, hmm not the typical Frank’s Red Hot Sauce approach that most wing places go with. These aren’t that hot, just couldn’t place that taste. And then it dawned on me, it’s covered in Sambal Chilli paste… The heat creeps up on you and then you are looking for water like your trapped in the Sahara Desert. After grabbing a few more it felt like my mouth was just put into a Ronda Rousey armbar. Being that this place cooks their food Halal style it made sense that their wings were going to be a tad smaller in size than the typical wing chains that use genetically and steroid pumped chicken’s to feed the masses. This place is a great place to stop by for a bite and or take some to go! I will be back and I suggest if you are in the area you give it a try.

There were businesses that come and go at this spot. But this little restaurant cooks and specializes in chicken wings, burgers, sharwarma and other popular Arabic/Muslim cuisines with their own flavor. On my debut of the new place, I had the Garlic Parmesan wings. For $ 8.00, I get twelve of these flavorful wings seasoned with the aromatic Garlic and cheesy Parmesan. These wings may be small, but the wings are loaded with flavors and cooked to perfection. There are eight different kinds of wings that this new restaurant serves. And I became a wimp and chose the milder flavor. I also added a huge basket of French fries for $ 3.00 and a bottle of Mexican Pepsi for $ 2.50 to complete my dinner. The basket of fries was huge too. I really enjoyed the wings from this new place and hopefully this place does well and stays. I am also looking forward towards trying the other food from here too.
