Pretty cute shack right around the Bay Bridge. The stewardess was attentive and took our orders quickly. However, she did switch my orders around with other people, so I wasn’t able to try the dish I had wanted to try. Toast was quite crispy. Scramble was a bit overdone for me and too greasy. They have quite a selection of drinks to choose from, and this place gets bustling during game days.

Location is great(and outdoor seating), dive is a great description but love the food. Perfect wings and service has always been spot on.

Checked out this little dive bar after the Giants fan fest and I love how they have an outdoor patio as well as the inside bar. Very friendly and fast service! Good prices on the beer as well :)

Place is a dive. And service sucks depending on who you get to serve you. Oblivious to customers around them. Watching a Giants game and they took it off even though no one was watching it.

Went here for breakfast/lunch. I got breakfast and my sweets got lunch. The bartender was super welcoming and friendly as well as the server. Always a great sign. We both ordered Bloody Mary’s. This was a great and perfectly spicy bloody. One of the best I have had. The Veggie Omelette was flippin huge and veggies super fresh. So delish! My sweets enjoyed his burger and fries. The portions were huge and prices good. One thing that I need to mention is that their menu online was not the same menu at the bar. The menu was way smaller. They really need to update there online menu. It was kind of a bummer since I wanted to go to this place just because they had so many pub grub options. Kind of misleading.

You know, I really like this place for lunch or a quick beverage in the late afternoon. I find myself there several days a week. Their menu is somewhat limited but everything is delicious. Personal favorites are the Chicken Caesar — not amazing, but tasty with lots of chicken — or the bacon cheeseburger, which comes with a ridiculous amount of bacon. Mmmm. Fish tacos are also notable. Location is convenient, with parking usually available along the Embarcadero. The view of the bay is great and it’s easy to take a walk along the waterfront after lunch to burn off a bit of the burger. I always appreciate the great friendly service as well. Stephanie, Neely and Carina always brighten my day with their smiles and take quick care of me if I’m in a hurry. Highly recommended.

Fantastic dive bar — great atmosphere with a beautiful view. It’s nestled right under the Bay Bridge on the water. The food is a step above standard«bar good». Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The owner is a wonderful guy and takes pride in this fine establishment. Be sure to check it out!

Cozy bar/restaurant on the pier My friends and I stopped by here for lunch on our way towards AT&T park. We didn’t really have an prior plans and just wanted some food. It was a good dining experience and our server was very welcoming. I ordered the fish tacos. It was two fish tacos accompanied with 2 types of sauce, beans, and sour cream. I enjoyed the fish taco but I do think it could use a bit more seasoning if you don’t use the sauces. I really want to note that their fries are really good since they come with a special seasoning and I wish I ordered that as a side because I wanted to keep munching on my friends sandwich dish haha.

4 stars as far as dive bars go — great location right on the bay next to pier 28. Had a stellar Bloody Mary(spicy!!) and a basic breakfast. The food is pretty meh but the cozy bar atmosphere and drinks are worth a visit!

This place is like a chameleon of places. It is exactly what you need it to be, exactly in that moment. You can go there for private events, casual drinks, or a scrumptious burger — you will never have a bad time. I would highly recommend the cheese quesadilla, tis my fav :)

The Hi dive is a San Francisco gem. It’s French toast is out of this world, and the drinks are great. The atmosphere is chill and the view is fantastic inside and from the patio. WAIT it gets better, there is often not a long wait and is actually a reasonably priced brunch in SF. This is definitely my SF brunch /lunch spot.

Hi Dive is conveniently located across the street from where I was hosting an event, so a group of us headed over there after it ended. Apparently we showed up five minutes before they were going to close the kitchen. Our waitress impatiently asked us if we wanted food, told us to order at the bar, then left. When we tried to order at the bar, the bartender said we needed to ask the waitress. How confusing. Anyways, I ended up with the Bello Burger and fries… and of course a beer. The Bello Burger was packed with produce and was quite tasty. Messy but tasty experience for around $ 14 or $ 15. The fries were pretty good. My friend(who is more or less a Hi Dive regular) recommended them. We went there late evening, but I was imagining how pretty the view must be during the day! Decent service, mediocre food. I would come here again for its convenience in location at the very least.

The location is good but the staff is not so nice. Our waitress was obviously annoyed at our group of 10 people(which this was a perfect opportunity for her to be nice and get a big tip). When we asked for food(it’s was right after work on a Friday) she gave us the«I don’t wanna deal with this» look. Because the service was poor we left and went to another bar.

New local bar, just moved to the city and this place is three blocks away! Perfect location right on the water for a quick bite a some drinks. The bar tender was friendly and seemed very quick to pick up on remembering re-order as the bar filled up with Giants and Warriors fan. It impressed me. It was a little more expensive that I had imagined it to be but location will probably do that. I’m sure we will be here a lot, you can’t pass up conventicle like this place for a quick drink and a ball game!

Came here to meet my boy for drinks after work on a Wednesday. It was my first time coming, and I was looking forward to it, given the(semi) positive reviews, location, and because I had a rare night to kick back. We rolled in around 8:30, and the place wasn’t too busy so we were able to grab a spot no problem. We opted for a table at the patio, and it was definitely the play. There are about 10 tables outside, and all of them give you a view of the bay and even the embarcadero, as the restaurant is almost directly under the bay bridge. It’s worth coming just for the outdoor seating honestly, especially as it gives you a nice place to unwind and relax from the work week. The beer selection was aaaaight. Nothing worth writing about, but it did the trick. Bartender was awful though, sadly. Uninterested, slow, and unfriendly(except when you leave a tip). We all know the type. I’ll move on. We were a little hungry so we ordered some fries, which were dank as hell. Shoutout to everyone who recommended those for real. While the majority of the food here is your typical bar fare, the fries are just delicious, period. Overall though, this place has a great ambience, and most importantly a terrific patio thats tailor made for good conversation and good times. I’ll be back, and soon.

Simple food, strong drinks and a view by the water. What else can you ask for? Good SF weather, you might say– but TRUST, the weather was in the 80s and Hi Dive it was! Had some lunch here with Stine H. where we had a cocktails and fish tacos to share, it was way too beautiful to spend it cooped up indoors. I had the Two Mules for Sister Sarah to drink and some Old School Fish Tacos and Spiced Fries to share. Yummy fries, just how I like them. Thin, crisp but fluffy inside and light. Spiced well and tasted even better with ranch. Old School Fish Tacos tasted awesome. Good portion of chopped fish and veg filling with the sides of black bean chili, sour cream, chile verde and salsa completed the meal. For one taco each, it was really filling! The Two Mules for Sister Sarah is probably one of the better Mules I’ve had. The ginger beer was sharp and refreshing, the garnish of lime topped it all off. They serve it in the traditional copper mug, which just looks so gosh darn cool and of course it literally was. Good service, we had an attentive server who also gave us recommendations and explained each item to us and checked back on us often, even though we were seated on the patio. A bit pricey, but hey for this great patio setting and good food it’s worth it.
