IDO was awesome. The construction of their cabinets are top notch. The Cal Door product was well done as well. Even though there was a problem with the doors slightly coming apart. Didn’t matter, IDO backed their install and made what could have been a very sticky situation… very easy. We are so delighted with our Cabinet purchase that we will re-​order when we start our Bathroom remodel.

Worked with Allison and other staff at shop. They’re very helpful with their professional experience. The final products are extremely well make comparable to Dynasty Omega product line.

I was just verbally recommending this company when I looked up the name to be sure I had it right. Then I noticed that I never wrote a review and really I should. They were very helpful without being pushy or hyper-«we are your decorators!» They did not insist on coming by to see the space. They repected that my contractor and I knew what we were doing. They let him ask questions. The work was beautiful and, best of all, they make these cabinest right here in San Francisco. They have a wide variety of choices and a lovely display, again, without being ostentatious or repetitive. They were the only place that didn’t charge the same for unstained as for stained cabinets. The salesperson was very matter of fact, saying, «Well, it is extra work to stain the wood so it is cheaper if you don’t get it stained.» I had wondered about that, and no where else had that difference in price built into their bottom line. They were pleasant and on time.

I’m surprised they don’t already have lots of rave reviews posted, so let me do my karmic duty to promote them.
We needed custom cabinets to fit a new bedroom in a major remodel, and I used CorelDRAW to create a first approximation of the design we needed, including a central compartment for video equipment. We also wanted to use an exotic hardwood called Tineo. Yup, pretty obnoxiously picky — if you are too, read on! ;-)
I electronically submitted my scale diagrams to three different companies, Ido Cabinet already having been recommended by someone we knew. Ido had the lowest price of the three, and Allison seemed very competent, so we went ahead and signed a contract.
James came to do an on-​site inspection before fabricating the units, and thank God he did, because he figured out that the large tall closet would not be able to fit round the corners of the staircase it would have to go up for installation. He therefore redesigned it in two pieces. I was *very* impressed by James’s knowledge and professionalism during his visit to my house.
The final product was absolutely beautiful — SEE PHOTO. Our contractor installed it for us. IMPORTANT NOTE: you need to have someone to do the installation for you — this is NOT a service that Ido Cabinet provides, even for an additional price.
Immediately after installation, none of the drawers were properly aligned — nobody’s fault: «Your baggage may have shifted during the flight!» The contractor quite rightly refused to install the Hafele pulls until they *were* properly aligned.
I called Allison, and the *same* day she sent Albert who very quickly adjusted everything perfectly, at no cost. Now that’s what I call service!

Worked with Allison and James on our new custom cabinets. They look amazing and are of great quality. Was very professional experience working with Ido. They had the designs and look we were after at a reasonable cost.
We had a special glazing finish added which delayed the delivery by a week or two but otherwise Ido was responsive to all of our needs both pre and post install.
