Truly the best company you’ll find to help you get your product/​idea started. From patent searches to product design and prototyping, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I was treated like a family member. I can’t say enough great things about the staff there. They were truly helpful, warm and caring. Jessica the client manager there is absolutely amazing!

If you’re reading these reviews you’re probably getting pretty serious about taking your invention from concept to reality. You may have a detailed, fully realized idea of how you want it to look, or (like me) you might simply have an idea but not much certainty about its design. Innovate can help either way.
The design staff put forth a few concepts I’d never have considered. Even though I went with the less expensive proof-​of-​concept style prototype that utilizes off the shelf parts whenever possible, my prototype came out with a very flattering look in addition to being functional and practical. I’m pretty confident that it will show well — if it doesn’t wind up taking off, it’ll be because my idea wasn’t great, not because my prototype isn’t.
I’ve learned a lot about the process and still have a ways to go to get it to market, but Innovate can help there too with contacts and information. They’re definitely a great partner to have in your endeavour!

I was contacted by Jessica after my last review which I really appreciated (hence the extra star). She offered to move onto the prototyping phase, but not manufacture-​ready prototype, just a cleaner version of what I had created at a slightly discounted cost. I really appreciated the effort and the communication, you can tell they want to do right by the customer but they have a set of steps in place to (what I assume is to) protect themselves from creating a bad product that reflects poorly on them, but it leaves the customer little room to work within a tighter budget with a product that is already well-​conceptualized. I would recommend them if you are in the drawing-​on-​a-​napkin phase of your idea and have a large budget to play with.

Our experience with Innovate was nothing short of stellar. They are incredibly professional and accommodating, particularly for a start-​up company trying to make something from scratch. Innovate Product Design is a great company to get your invention moving forward. They started their business in the UK and now they have a branch office in San Francisco. They offer several types of services for inventors at reasonable prices. Some of their services include patent searches, CAD drawings, and prototyping.
With the help of Jessica and Andrew, I choose to do an international patent search before anything else to see if my idea was already patented. The search was the fast, easy, and one of the most important initial steps throughout the whole process. There are websites that does patent searches, but I would have never been able to complete such a thorough search by myself. I was happy with the results because I didn’t want to continue with this idea if someone already invented and patent it.
I also decided to have my presentations boards and patent drawing completed by Innovate Product Design. This process took a little more time and effort than I expected due to an unexpected setbacks in the growth of the office here in San Francisco. Ultimately I was happy with the presentation boards but I felt like the patent drawings were not fully completed. I was assured by Jessica that they will continue to work with me on the patent drawings when I choose a lawyer to submit my patent.
I believe that this branch office here in San Francisco is still in its growing stage and it doesn’t have all the resources that the UK office has. I know they will overcome this in the near future and I look forward to working with them again.
I am in the process of receiving my prototype soon. I’ll let you know how that works out.
