Java wasted café used to be jackie’s but no more. they offer organic coffee(2) for a large cup. –pretty smooth and not an hint of harshness. –café has no patrons post noon on saturday. –located across from off the grid mcCoppin. –have no interest in the food, just the great coffee.

The first sandwich I tried there was a «Build your own» …it was Amazing! Such a big portion for the price! The next time I went, was feeling a bit under the weather & ordered their soup of the day with a Mecalicious grilled cheese sandwich… so good! Staff was friendly, laid back, fun. Made me feel comfortable to hang out & use their free wi-fi. They have so many different types of coffee’s I have not decided which one to choose first! Buuuuuut I did notice they have beer, wine & champagne too!!! Whaaat! Mimosas are my favorite! I love supporting local businesses, cant wait to go back again :) p.s… the lady who gave a one star clearly sounds like she was having a bad day haha… she’s the one who should get it together.

Excellent sandwich and really friendly staff. Don’t know why someone would give 1 star but maybe they reviewer was having a bad day. They let my friends bring food in from off the grid and I gotta say there just delecious and great! Portions to cost are phenomenal, I shared my sandwich and am full!

The new owners of Jackie’s Vinoteca have re-named the place Java Wasted Café. Went in for a quick breakfast(egg and cheese on a bagel and bagel with cream cheese) The new owner wasn’t very friendly, and her cook seemed to resent being there. My egg and cheese sandwich came with butter(didn’t ask for butter), and was so salty it was inedible. The bagel with cream cheese was at least 2 days old and they didn’t toast it like I asked. I know you just opened a week ago, but get it together guys.
