Words are not big enough to describe what an absolutely outstanding physician Dr. Lager is! She upholds medicine almost solely– with her expertise and increasingly rare nowadays, patient consideration. Too many physicians today are geared to the data and the screen with almost no clue of ‘the patient’. They almost look for ‘problems’ and one leaves a visit thinking.‘what just happened?’ I am 66 years old, have lived in the Middle East, France, New York and now San Francisco. It is hard to think of a doctor who is clearly more gifted, intelligent, empathetic and so human. Thank you Dr. Lager… anyone of us that gets to see you is truly fortunate!

OMG. Dr. Lager is phenomenal! From being kinda, and a good listener, to jumping through hoops to get me into surgery the next day. I can’s speak highly enough about her skills as a doctor AND as a surgeon. Pretty much no pain after surgery and I am a big baby in the department. What more can you ask for? Highly recommended and I’m pretty picky LOL.

Dr. Lagar is wonderful. I can’t say enough good things about her. She is extremely knowledgable and friendly. I had to have surgery and the care I received was remarkable. She takes the time to do little things that are meaningful to the individual. I love her care and recommend her to anyone if they want a great doctor.

Dr. Lager is fabulous! I first met her at Mt. Zion when hospitalized for an issue in 2009. She has since been my OB/​GYN for the past 4 years. She is extremely sweet, patient, and knowledgeable with a wonderful bedside manner. I recently received a letter from UCSF saying she has moved out of the Bay Area as of summer 2013.

My aunt spent a couple days at UCSF Mt Zion last week. Dr. Lager was the only ray of light during a very stressful hospital experience.
Dr. Lager answered all of our questions completely and thoroughly with patience and understanding.
