There’s so much information out there about what«healthy» food is. Everyone tells you conflicting information how about you should eat this, but not that, or if you do, then take this supplement — wait, no, that supplement. It’s enough for you to stress-eat an entire bag of goldfish crackers … At least it was for me. I met Jenny after battling it out with killer migraines. My massage therapist suggested that I look at my diet and see if it might be contributing to my headaches and all the other nauseating issues that related to them. She also said that my hangry moments were not normal and that the added stress of being hungry was contributing to my migraines. Meeting Jenny was really helpful! Jenny is super personable and listens well. She wanted to understand what my goals were and what kinds of changes I was willing to make. I wanted to be better educated about how my food choices were affecting my overall health. After our meetings she always sent detailed notes going over what we talked about, what the goal for that period would be, and recipes and links to helpful articles that supported what she taught. We started small, like helping me set up designated snacking time and finding quick nutritious foods I could eat while at work. We found ways to incorporate healthy fats into my meals to help keep me full. She introduced me to new cooking oils and encouraged me to think about what I was eating as part of my health routine, just like following the neurologist’s orders and going to the gym. Eventually she helped me go gluten free, alcohol free, and dairy free in the quest for better health. It’s a bit extreme(and most people won’t need to make a crazy life-style change) but I certainly did. I’d rather change what I eat rather than taking a lot of prescription medication! I’m confident in my food choices, and feel good about the way I eat. My migraines are diminished and I even lost a big of weight without watching the scale. I feel less susceptible to food crazes and fads. I’m armed with knowledge about my food choices. Thank you Jenny for helping me learn about how important my food choices are and how to feel confident that I’m eating right!

I am so impressed with Jenny’s knowledge about the ingredients in everyday foods. She’s really helped me change what I’m eating. Some of the things I believed about food were simply not true, even tho I consider myself pretty knowledgable. She’s helped my health in so many ways… plus she’s just the nicest person!
