I’ve known of this donut and lunch spot since arriving in the neighborhood a couple of months ago, and have been very curious. My first caveat is that I don’t have a sweet tooth, and just the thought of Krispy Kreme donuts sends me into insulin shock… But, I was hankering for an old fashioned burger – so armed with some greenbacks(cash only), I dropped into this old school dive and ordered a double cheeseburger with fries. The very cheerful and patient lady behind the counter asked if I wanted everything on it. I did. Then she asked if I would mind accepting a previously made order identical to mine that was still hot, but the to-go customer had not arrived yet and she was concerned they might no-show. I accepted the order since I was ravenous, I picked up a chocolate covered cake donut for dessert(shocking, I know – it’s for review purposes only… ;). The fries were warm, squishy but not soggy. And they tasted great with my concoction of ketchup and hotsauce. The burger was hefty – great sign! The patties were a bit thicker than I had hoped, and the cheese cap leered at me as it oozed down the face of the burger. The patties were seasoned simply and were juicy! The lettuce had crunch, onions were sweet and snappy. The pickles crisp and the tomatoes, flavorful. The buns had been toasted lightly. The cake donut was not as dense as the ones I am used to, and had a strong vanilla scent to them. They were not bad, just not what I was expecting. When it was time to leave, I returned the to-go condiments I did not need or use in the bag to the lady – who had been chattering in a foreign language to the male cook. I asked if they were Thai – turns out they are Cambodian! So I rolled off my best«Chomreab Suor» at them with palms pressed together and fingertips on my chin in respect. After complimenting them on their food, I thanked them in Cambodian«AwKhoon» and ambled out with a full belly and a broad grin having dropped barely $ 8+ for a satisfying lunch.

I’ve been to this place many times simply looking for a good glazed donut and some coffee to wake up, but never knew they sold breakfast plates. This morning I came in expecting to get a coffee, but instead order bacon and eggs. The prices are very reasonable, the bacon plate was only about $ 8. They serve generous portions of hash browns into pieces of sliced toast with jelly, just like old times at a diner. I will definitely come back and try more breakfast plates, and give the donuts some love.

Doesn’t look like much from the outside(or the inside for that matter), but the staff are always friendly and they get you good food very fast. The best thing is the prices, donuts for $ 1 and coffee for a couple bucks. They also have a big variety of things from burgers to breakfast plates. One important note: This place is cash only. There’s an ATM down San Bruno at the Walgreens if you find your wallet light.

Not a bad burger, salty and juicy like I love it. Party’s aren’t really made to cook to temperature(medium rare)… But a good hot burger and fries none the less. Clean little dining room with lots of donuts. Really awesome, gigantic donuts. Not a bad place at all

Simple good burgers. I tried the mushroom burger with fries combo, turned out moist and delicious. I also enjoy that they toast their buns. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Will come back to try their breakfast meals and donuts!

This was my first time here and let me say, well done good sir! Friendly service, cheap food and good food. The donuts are large and and packed with yummy-ness. I also got a fried egg sandwich. It is made with plain cheap bread, egg, tomato and lettuce. Add cheese if you want or meat. All for a low price of $ 4.85. Or somewhere in that range. I really enjoys this little place and it will stay bookmarked for future visits.

Everything about this place is charming. People of all ages flock in here bright and early for their usual. Me? I love my glazed donuts and a fried egg sandwich. Also, one of the very few places in San Francisco with a cup of coffee for under $ 2. Everyone is so nice behind the counter and they remember you. Sometimes they’ll see you in line and have your order ready before you get to the counter. What’s not to love, honestly? Stop by, grab a donut, sit down and people watch. You’ll see what I’m talking about.

$ 1 dollar donuts, yes!!! Today, I needed some coffee and decided donuts would go well with it, so I Unilocaled donuts, and ended up here. I came with two friends, and we bought 2 donuts, 2 small coffees, and a philly cheese steak with fries(around $ 7), all for $ 12! Service was great, and the huge chocolate donut filled me up. We were all happy campers, and I’d come back.

Awesome donut holes just 2 bucks a dozen. Great hash browns. I had all sorts of random requests, like, cut up an apple fritter into 8 pieces, and he didn’t blink. Very friendly

Have been coming here for about 10+ yrs. Employees are always friendly, and service is pretty quick! they serve breakfast, burgers, donuts, e.t.c… So far everything my kids and I have eaten there is good! Only complaint I do have is coffee is very watery it does nothing for me, tastes like tea and they don’t take atm cards! Just Make sure you have cash, or go across the street to the atm: and if you want to sit down to eat, very early in the mornings are packed,

If you are looking for a good burger, you’ll find it here! Your food is made by order so you know it is fresh but it’s worth the wait. The price of each burger includes fries and they always ask whether you would like everything(onions, mayo, pickles, etc.) in it. The doughnut holes are $ 1 for 6. They are absolutely delicious. I have been buying doughnut holes from J. Georgie’s ever since I was in elementary school and their quality and fair prices have not changed. Whenever I go to the bathroom in the back, the kitchen is always vacant and empty. It seems like no one uses the back and hasn’t been cleaned in a while. The tables are usually clean but occasionally it will be sticky. Hopefully, sometime soon, they will remodel!

Best doughnut holes holes in the San Francisco Bay Area. And only $ 2 for a dozen! This place is the best. Parking is a little tight there, but well worth a trip. Grab a couple of bags of doughnut holes the next time you are on your way to SFO. Friendly and quick service. Lots of morning regulars with a good vibe here. This is a true San Bruno Ave gem.

Very Charming/Nice people behind the counter. Had a cheese burger with fires and some donut holes… 6 holes for a $ 1! :) Burger was tasty and straight forward. They did not put salt on the fries, which I liked. Burger was a bit small for my liking and they didn’t give me much fries. I recommend ordering the Double patty and eating their in hopes of more fries! I also say a special for 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, and 2 links or sausages for $ 5.55! Going to try that next time and report back! As a child, I remember that business’s would be like this. Cash only and using a brown board with white letters to display the menu.

Admittedly, I am a fried carbohydrate whore. Now that this is out in the open, I can tell you this place is great. Old school, everything out on display, everything fresh, and everything is huge! No specialty that I could see from the quick once over I did but a cinnamon twist lasted me pretty much the entire ride down to Monterey from San Francisco so… they’re size-able pillows of fried dough. Everything was fresh, fresh, fresh. People were nice, FAST, and efficient. They obviously have been in business for a while and know what they’re doing. Definitely stop by. We did because I needed change for the meters but they have a lovely old-fashioned set-up. I could see this place looking the exact same way 10 years ago and on some level, that charm just isn’t reproducible nowadays.
