Just Desserts

It’s not a fantastic location but I haven’t tasted a yummier cake than their mocha cake. sounds weird but it is in my top 3 favorite cakes of all time (others are red velvet and simple chocolate with white buttercream frosting from just about anyplace, grocery stores included)

Grabbed a cappuchino and a large chocolate chip cookie at the Just Desserts in the Metreon in the Yerba Buena Center. Worked my way thru a huge crowd and finally found a place to sit on the other side of the park. Normally I wouldn’t review such a small matter, but… the cookie was ancient and hard. And the cappuchino, which the young lady labored over for what seemed a suspiciously long time, was scalding but weak. The coffee did not even taste fresh. There was a time when Just Desserts was fabulous. That time has passed.
