Had a great experience during my phone call. I worked with Christy Lee on getting a competitive quote for my car and rental insurance. She gave me very helpful tips on how to go about it. I wasn’t ready to switch yet but when I get a new car I’m looking forward to working with her again. Overall, very professional and friendly experience.

First off I’d like to say thanks Christy Lee!!! ^_​_​^ I recently transferred my policy over to this office and boy I don’t regret it. Christy Lee was the office representative that helped assist me with my policy. She is very knowledgeable and actually enjoys helping as well as taking the time out to listen, compared to most insurance offices. She helped me solve and issue regarding my Driving record and for that I am choosing to stay a State Farm client. Overall rating for this office an easy 5 stars once again thanks Christy ^_​_​_​^.

I don’t write reviews often, but after Jacob assisted me with my policy, I felt compelled to share with the world the great job that Jacob and the rest of the team did. They assisted with all my questions and concerns, helping me every step along the way. Communication was fast, simple, and I was very satisfied with the quotes I received. I have been with State Farm for many years for my home and auto insurance needs. Kate’s entire office, more recently Christy, are very responsive to my changing insurance requirements, go the extra mile to explain my insurance options, and patiently address my many questions on the t&cs. I currently have my Auto, Home, and Personal Articles policy with State Farm. I’ve been a client of Jacob Louie for 6 years now. He is the most professional, kind and responsive individual I have ever have met. Jacob goes out of his way to make me feel like a VIP client. He answers all of my insurance questions and was able to set up a policy that protects me and my family. His response times are quick and his demeanor is friendly. I don’t ever plan to find anyone else for my insurance needs. If you need an insurance quote or have an insurance question, don’t hesitate to call Jake at State Farm!

Always responsive and has a great staff. Even though I am now in San Jose, Kate and her staff continue to be my insurance agents!

As far as insurance agencies go. I am typically not a fan. However, the staff at this location are friendly and willing to help you find ways to save money. If you live in the neighborhood it is not a bad option to go with State farm. I’ve had to make a claim or two and my rates raised but not outrageously.

We had extensive water damage in our house from a burst hose. Kate and Miranda were superlative. They really did go above and beyond what I would have expected from an insurance agent. They really did go out of their way to help us. It’s too bad that the local State Farm Agents are not allowed to have more input into the process that occurs after a claim is filed. I would not be giving a good review for the State Farm adjuster, or other State Farm people we had to deal with along the way. Our experience would have been a nightmare had Kate not intervened and helped us navigate the State Farm bureaucracy.

This is my second review of Kate’s office and staff. I’m giving them another 5 stars because they have been outstanding to work with since my last review in 2010.
I was in a minor traffic accident earlier this year and worked with Miranda to figure out the process for getting my car repaired. Miranda did an outstanding /​A++ job keeping me updated about details relating to my case and coverage. Miranda also worked with me today to adjust my coverage, to help me avoid some of the inconveniences I experienced in the future if I’m in another accident that I’m not at fault for.
I’m very happy to be working with such a great insurance office and I refer all of my home purchasing clients to Kate as well (I’m a Realtor).

Such a friendly and helpful office. We have renters and car insurance through them. Everyone in the office is super friendly, helpful and very responsive.

Kate McIntyre and her team have been extremely helpful in getting our insurance in place. My wife and I met with Kate last year for our renters and car insurance and an umbrella policy. Kate talked to us for over an hour and explained the pros and cons of our various options in a way that was immediately clear and helpful. She is highly professional and she and her staff always answered our questions immediately.
When it came time to buy a home this year, we went back to Kate for our homeowners insurance. Luckily for us, our home had recently been renovated and we were entitled to big discounts for having new wiring, plumbing and heating. Our policy on our house cost far less than we had been led to expect. I would highly recommend Kate to anyone who needs insurance or anyone who needs their current insurance coverage reviewed. She does a great job!

I have been with Kate since I moved to the Bay Area in 2002, and I plan on being with her as long as I own a car! Kate and her team are definitely the best I have worked with in the insurance world — not only are they very friendly, supportive, responsive, and accessible, but they just overall take very good care of me and my Jeep. In fact, Kate’s team is so amazing they even helped a friend of mine, who is not a current customer! She had been in a car accident and could not find the contact information for her agent’s claims department. I gave her Kate’s number, and the staff there took down all my friend’s information and then put my friend in touch directly with the appropriate staff! Kate’s team definitely eased my friend’s worries that night, and I’ll never forget that.
I also want to take a moment to extend special thanks to Katie Nihen, one of Kate’s team members, whom I have worked with the most. Katie is in a word: amazing. I recently moved and my car insurance shot up more than I had anticipated. One phone call to Katie, and my premium went right back down again. Whew! Not to mention every time I call the office and I get Katie on the phone, I feel like I’ve called an old friend. It’s great just to chat with her.

I just moved out of state from SF and was so bummed to find out I couldn’t take Kate and her crew along with us. They have been great agents over the years, offering us a great combination of competitive rates and human interaction.
When my daughter was born, they brought the life insurance paperwork over to our house so we didn’t have to venture out right away. When my husband needed additional help with his life insurance policy, there were at the ready to get us extra support. When I actually had a car accident, they were at the ready to help me get my car back on the road. As completely trite as it sounds, these guys have actually been good neighbors over the years.

I started with Kate back when her father owned the business, 27 years ago (1984) and the friendly and professional service continues today. I consider Kate almost like family. I like that I get an annual review of my policies and never feel their increasing my coverage for their gain but mine. Kate’s office employ’s a staff of hard working courteous with every phone call group that cares… Its a good thing that I haven’t needed to call Kate for claims but the few that I have she took care of everything.
I also want to say that State Farm passes on exceptionally good discounts for keeping your record clean of tickets and accidents. So Kate, here’s to another 27 years!

Problems with my current carrier have sent me shopping for auto insurance. While I’ve not yet made a final decision, my dealings with Natalie Harris of Kate McIntyre’s office strongly incline me to a State Farm policy.
She is thoughtful, communicative, and truly desirous of helping; she goes the extra mile.
And State Farm gets good ratings, so it’s only a matter of time.

Such a helpful bunch! Recently, we’ve had some very, VERY bad Car Karma. About a month ago, we were backed into in the Babies R Us parking lot. The woman did about $ 2300 in damages. We took it as a sign and sold the car.
We, then, bought a brand new, safer for baby car, which we loved! After we parked it on the street for less than a week, some crazy person ran into it and did nearly $ 8000 in damage… to our BRAND NEW CAR! We still haven’t received the license plates from the DMV, it’s so new.
Seriously? A bright WHITE car under a street light? The car only had 198 miles on it, and she SMASHED it good. She left a note, so I suppose she gets some good karma points. But, how does that explain our bad Car Karma? We’re nice people! We would leave a note. I’ve not had to, which should give me even better Car Karma.
But moving beyond my religious confusion, State Farm, and in particular the people in this office, have been incredible. I even mentioned our upcoming new arrival (I’m due in 4 days with our first baby), and without mentioning it on the phone, they sent us a copy of «Caring for Your Baby and Young Child» in the mail. A lovely surprise.
Great office. Nice people. Totally competent. Parking is tough, but Muni stops right outside their door.

I am writing this Unilocal review at the request of the automated signature on the emails from this office asking for a Unilocal review.
I was referred to this office after moving here from out of state. Natalie was very professional, courteous, and helpful. Nevertheless, there were several miscommunications and misunderstandings related to a citation that occurred out of state. The details of the specific issue are irrelevant. Regardless, I was less than pleased with the attitudes toward my explanations of the problem. In my opinion, my point of view was never fully grasped as the agents – both Natalie and Kate – held to their company line.
I had asked that the office investigate whether an exception could be made in my situation due to the circumstances. I doubted whether Kate would actually make this inquiry due to the 20 minute conversation in which she attempted to convince me that there was nothing that could be done. In the end, Kate did state that she investigated whether or not an exception could be made in this situation. Unfortunately, the answer was no and I decided to go with a cheaper insurance company that does not penalize me on this issue.
I fully understand that there may not have been anything State Farm could do to remedy the situation. However, I was very disappointed in the fact that neither Natalie or Kate could or would see my side of the issue. Because of this, there was no trust on my part that the office would actually have my best interest at heart.
I did speak to another agent that I found through Unilocal and she immediately understood my point of view. Had the response been like hers, my rating of this office would be higher even though the outcome with me taking my business elsewhere would have been the same.

My first review of this agent was deleted because I wouldn’t remove my negative rating. Pilar D., her employee filed some grievance with Unilocal saying I never even been there 2 months ago. Now that I got pictures of the place, Unilocal cannot accuse me of not being there.
My previous review was basically that this agent buys and sends junk mail to these people. Prior to my review being removed, I had never been to her office and yet continue to get letters and cards say «Saving of $ 426.»
After going to the office I had planned on giving a higher rating but then noticed some of the fake reviews that were written by friends or possibly employees. And difference wasn’t even $ 20.
