Ken Chow was awesome. He handled all of the details of my wedding and was awesome to work with. He made me feel at ease the very first time i met him this is someone who is EXTREMELY organized and will make sure no detail goes forgotten. I had a 230 person wedding at SF City Hall and not only did he set up my entire wedding his staff was responsible for the bars, and staffing and bussing for all the tables. I had mutiple people tell me how much they loved the bar set up and how they felt they never waited for a drink. On top of that my dad which can be very particular about service said it was the best service he has ever had at a wedding. If you don’t want to worry and you want to have a very classy evening i suggest hiring KC Catering. I felt for SF his prices were also very reasonable and he really worked with me on my budget without ever pushing me over. IN fact his final bill was less then the estimate. I would work with and/or recommend KC again in a heartbeat.

Ken Chow was awesome. He handled all of the details of our wedding(ceremony settings, cocktail hour, dinner) and was very easy to work with. We had a 150-person wedding, and he made our planning easy. And affordable. The end result was truly stunning. The table settings were elegant, the staff was professional and the food was great. What more could you ask for? Give him an opportunity to cater your wedding(or other event). You will not be sorry.

I’m not a confrontational person and I don’t like to dwell on the negative, but I want to spare other brides-to-be the experience I had. I had only 7 months to plan my wedding, and KC was one of the first caterers I approached. It took Ken 2 weeks to return my initial phone call, and another 2 weeks to send a proposal. Mind you, the event that I was offering him was at a nice venue in downtown SF with 200 guests — no cheap affair. From that point on, it took him at least a week to return each of my phone calls. Two months into conversations and negotiations with him, I decided to pass on Union Street(the other catering company I had discussions with) and I clearly articulated to Ken that we were moving forward with him. Then abruptly, he became unreachable. Out of nowhere, he sent the following email: «I just got back from a business trip meeting with a corporate client who just reserved xx/xx/xxxx [my wedding day] … I hope your event goes well with the other caterer.» That was it. I’m not sure how that bodes in terms of wedding etiquette, but I do know that that’s not great client services etiquette. I would have at least appreciated a heads up somewhere down the road that he was considering another client. And of all people, a wedding vendor should sympathize with the stress that a bride-to-be typically undergoes. I won’t deny that Ken serves good food, and I won’t judge his personal character, but I felt compelled to share this story. Thankfully, I reached out to Union Street again, and my coordinator there — Kristy — immediately returned my phone call. Unlike KC, Kristy was completely transparent with the other events that Union St. was considering for my wedding day, but soon reassured me that I was a lock.
