Customer service is really bad. Their employees need to know how to treat customer better. This is my second time here. Service still bad. I don’t think I will come back anymore.

Beef Stew Fun was great with lots of noodles. Dumplings were tasty and filling. Fried Tofu was better than expected. Great prices for a SF restaurant. Their service was fine and what I have come to expect from most Chinese restaurants. I expect to return the next time I am in the Sunset.

This review is only for the frozen won ton taken to-go… First off, the signage on this restaurant is a little confusing but thanks to Unilocal and the pictures online, I figured out I was in the right location. Did you know that King Won Ton sells to-go bags of their won ton? There about 12 in a bag and are very tasty with a huge shrimp inside each one. One bag is only $ 4.50 and they are delicious. Service is questionable and they speak limited English there.

Noodle soup broth is a little lacking but wontons are great. Broth w beef stew is super awesome. They have a lot of options on the menu that are sure to hit your fancy(and photos on the wall to help you make up your mind!). Prices run $ 9 – 14 per dish. I’m picky when it comes to Chinese food but I’d definitely come back here for lack of a better place to go that I won’t have to wait an hour in line for.

They remodeled since the last time I was here, the food is the same, the service is better than the last time. Nothing really to complaint about, its HK street style Chinese food… don’t know why ppl give this place low stars, its a neighborhood restaurant… The Wonton Noodle soup was really good, even though the noodle is different than the HK style noodles that I am used to. The noodles were al dente and the soup was rich and deep. Not the best wonton noodle that I ever had, but still good. The beef chow fun was very good as well, flavorful hot wok taste, the beef was a little chewey, but again, my expectation was a neighborhood restaurant. The service was outstanding, the waitresses were polite and attentive.

I was not actually craving Won Tons because I made 3 bags of Won Tons that I stuff in my freezer. I was curious to compare my homemade ones with restaurant quality ones. Food: They did everything right! The secret sauce is soaking shrimp in baking soda water which gives it more of a crunch but wipes a bit of the flavor out. Won tons were large and noodles were al dente. Service: You’re at a rough and tough Chinese restaurant. Don’t expect the workers to be polite. Don’t bother coming here if you can’t take a little sarcasm. Environment: It has an old school 1980s Chinese restaurant setting. A bit unsanitary in a way, but it’s part of the setting that some weird people seek. Price: Fairly priced for being in SF. Food: 5 Service: 3 Environment: 4 Price: 4

Accessible entrance and seating, which is nice, though it’s a bit of a drafty restaurant. The food is all right as well for the price. They’re definitely not skimpy on the noodles, too, which I think are pretty good. The jung is huge, too. I ordered the jia jia mein when I was there and it was not what I was expecting, so I wold recommend against that though it tasted just fine, it felt a lot like eating instant ramen with pork sung(dry shredded pork) sprinkled over it.

Had the tendon and wonton lo mien and the Chiu chow chives pork blood. Yummy! New visit: had the rice noodles in fish broth, salt and pepper tofu, mouth watering chicken, and the marinated pig feet. Mouth watering chicken and pig feet are cold dishes. All delicious! Cash only.

I recently visited and was impressed with how they’ve revamped the place. The new booths, chairs, and tables really changed the space and energy of the experience. My parents are big noodle soup fans, so we ordered: — Beef Stew Lo Mein — Shrimp Wonton Noodle Soup — Dumpling Soup The wonton and dumpling soup was satisfactory. The highlight for me was the beef stew lo mein and the motivation for me to write this review. I love the fact that they make their own noodle and having it paired with the beef stew. YUM! The beef stew was flavorful and tender(according to my mom, could be more tender. lol) and was the right counterbalance with the flavors of the noodle. An added bonus is having a side of soup on the side to do as you desire. This seems to be my go to spot for my parents when we’re in the Irving area and this dish will now be my go to dish!

I have lived around the corner from this place for years and years and this was the first time I’ve stopped in. This place is pretty good to eat at. I order the chicken clay pot, pot stickers and chicken chow mien. The chicken clay pot we ordered spicy and it was spiced just right. I love a place that’s not afraid to make things extra spicy. The potstickers were yummy I loved them and the chow mien was on hit loved it all. I’m not used to seeing chicken feet in my food tho but hey it’s a cultural thing and it’s definitely the real deal. If you want some really good Chinese food with good prices then come here. Great place for a date night.

Worst service I’ve seen my life. The girl with the glasses said that I was annoying for requesting having no onions on my noodle. They even threw my noddles over the table, if they we’re busy I understand, but there were only two table including the one I’m sitting. The wonton was not even cook. There was still red meat in it, and the waiter told me that it’s okay to eat it, it’s not like you are gonna die or anything. After the meal they walk up to me saying that I didn’t give enough tips. Really leaving a few cents is even too much for this kind of service.

If you like wonton noodles this is the place to go. For $ 6 you get a large bowl with 5 big honking wontons. In Hong Kong I usually order two bowls, the one they served up here was like 1.5 normal bowls. Noodles were very stringy /al dante — perfect in my book. Not the best wontons I’ve ever had, but top 20%, I’d say. This is my new spot when I’m craving it!

We ordered dumpling noodle soup(B2) and Dumpling and Won Ton(B5). Though I circled the items on a take out menu and pointed them to the waitress with the end of my pencil and repeated them two or three times, we think that we got a slightly wrong order. We are not sure. Also we think that we both got the same item. Anyway, the soup was not too bad. Though I asked for waters, they did not come until we were more than halfway through with our soup. The waitress was not too busy. She just did not care to get us anything until she was ready to get us what we requested. There are too many good Chinese restaurants in the area to waste my time with this place. We will not return here. Bring cash, because that is all that they take.

I like big wontons and I cannot lie. No, seriously, I do. And King Won Ton & Noodle lives up to its name and serves up giant, hand-made wontons in the noodle soups and is guaranteed to be some of the best that you have ever tasted. Chunks of meat and shrimp with a thin wrapper soaking in broth… mmmm… There are few things more comforting in SF weather than a warm bowl of wonton noodle soup. At an average of $ 7/bowl, it won’t break your wallet either. Their dumplings are similar to the wontons, except there is some wood ear fungus(tastes better than it sounds) and less shrimp. Still delectable! Come here for the food. Don’t come here for the service. They’ll take your order, give you your food, you eat, and then you pay. Cash only, too.

People are so funny. you don’t go to an authentic hole-in-the wall(well it’s kinda big) Chinese restaurant for service or for«cleanliness» I love this place, their wonton noodle soup is on point. The food is cheap and I like their hot milk tea a lot, I also love their beef tendon noodles, dont get the chicken wings but everything else is good to go. I also love their fishball with tofu pot on the front page of their menu and I nom it right away. The pig feets ginger dish with egg is pretty authentic and def. an acquired taste but still yummy! But yes, I don’t even know why I am writing this review because I don’t want people to know about this place… but since I am feeling generous, I am sharing… come here!

**3.5 Stars** Stopped by on a whim and was pleasantly surprised given the Unilocal reviews! My shrimp wonton and noodle soup came pipin’ hot and the wontons were huge and jam packed with shrimps! I loved their fresh watermelon juice! As a Virginian, I’ve never really seen fresh watermelon juice at any restaurants except for when I was in Asia so that was the first thing I ordered when i sat down. The Beef Ho Fen was also very good from what I can remember. I only had a few bites since I ate my entire bowl of wonton and noodle and was stuffed by the time i could even look at the ho fen.

I like how we walked in around 1pm and there was no wait time! We actually came here because this other restaurant along Irving Street was too crowded. Apparently they make their own egg noodles– and they do give you a generous portion of it in their soups(starting around $ 6). Mongolian Beef: tender, flavorful, and I like the addition of the lightly sauteed red and green onions. Came with a side of rice. Scallion Pancake: flat, buttery, and crispy. There weren’t too many scallions in it, and it was a bit too thin for my liking. BBQ Duck Won Ton Soup: delicious broth! The wontons tasted like they had shrimp in them. Beef Stew Won Ton Soup: the beef pieces were so flavorful and fell right off the bone. It did include beef tendon, which I don’t like to eat. But the meat parts were so good and tender. Plenty of egg noodles and a rich, greasy broth.

Three stars with an «A-OK» from Unilocal describes it just right. I love beef stew with ho fun(the flat white noodles) in soup. This place has that with wontons in it. The beef stew was good. The noodles, however, weren’t but maybe it was because I came here at 9pm so the noodles just aren’t as fresh anymore. Who knows? I just wasn’t happy with the noodles. The wontons were fine. I would have expected more from«King Won Ton.» What I did like was the beef stew lo mein. The sauce and the noodles were perfect together. You can even get wontons with that. Their mein is better than the ho fun(figures). My mom says the mein is handmade. I would definitely order that next time instead. We also had some dumplings for appetizers… don’t get them. An extra added bonus is that they give you a bag of their noodles to eat at home if you spend $ 20. Wonderful.
