The coffee is pretty good! So is the hot chocolate! The café is located inside the Lands End Lookout Center and carries assorted drinks and baked goods. I think they carry sandwiches too. Perfect to get get some snacks and hydrate. There is also a huge window with bar seating for you to be able to soak in the view.

Convenient if you need a beverage or a snack. I came here and hadn’t had a chance to have a meal prior, so it was nice that there are sandwiches available. i ordered the salmon that comes with 2 mini bagels. A little overpriced, but that’s convenience for you. Take it outside on a clear day and enjoy the multi-million dollar views!

Best place to get some snacks, hot drinks, souvenirs before you start the trail! It was pretty chilly when we went so I grabbed a white mocha along with a chocolate chip cookie! They have varieties of snacks and they all look delicious! Service is great! Friendly service! The cookie was super yummy!!! I would definitely come back here!

You want to go on a little hike on this chilly and unforgiving San Francisco morning, but all of your friends are late. You stand there all alone and cold, wishing you were late too. Fortunately, you discover an unassuming place, Lands End Lookout Café. Then you decide to take a peek inside and join the long line to get a cup of coffee because you have nothing better to do at this point. Thank god, the line is going by pretty quickly and you are finally greeted by the friendly cashier and the barista. The moment the hot cup of coffee touches your hand, you feel a little warm inside already, almost smiling. And as you take the first sip of your coffee, you turn around and discover an amazing view. Now you think it’s not too bad that your friends are late because you are just enjoying yourself. the cup of coffee. the view.

Thank you for being there when I needed you Lands End Lookout Café! A much needed mocha after walking along the Coastal trail for a few hours. It was foggy, cold and gloomy and my energy was draining. Customer service was great! The cashier was extremely friendly, as well as the barista. The drinks came out very quickly and were prepared well! They have the perfect location. From now on anytime I am hiking and adventuring around the area I will stop in for a caffeine boost! They also had some sandwiches and snacks but we were not quite ready for food. Did I mention the view? It’s beautiful! In case you can’t find it, here’s a tip — it’s at the top of the hill right above Cliff House and Louis’ and it’s inside the Visitor Center! It’s not just bathrooms, postcards and plastic whales in there… but also delicious coffee.

Who would’ve known a clam chowder would be so good from this place?(I thought even better than from fisherman’s wharf…). Very chunky with lots of potatoes, clams and I even wanna say some lobster(or maybe crab)? Just downright good! Oh, and besides the chowder, it was eaten with such a wonderful view! We were fortunate to have such a clear beautiful day… lots of homemade goodness coming from this café.

The café is located where? You guessed it — Lands End. Location is everything. On this particular spot, you cannot beat the view. Located inside the Lands End Lookout Visitors’ Center, you get a panoramic and unobstructed view of the Cliff House, Sutro Bath Ruins and the Pacific Ocean. Since it’s a National Park and on Federal Land, parking is free. The parking lot is a pretty decent-sized lot, you just need to have a little patience and you will eventually grab a spot. There’s another lot across the street and there’s also street parking available if you can’t find one in the main lot. You can either start your day here or end your day here if you’re visiting, or hiking the trail. The café offers regular coffee and lattes. They also serve juice, water, tea and snacks. You can order inside or order outside. It’s not Starbucks(thank God) and their lattes are pretty good. There’s plenty of outdoor seating for you to soak in the magnificent view(depending on the weather) or simply people-watch. The Baristas are not conceited unlike those hipster coffee joints, and most are pretty down-to-earth friendly and cool. But the best part about it is the frickin’, awesome, stunning view while sippin’ on your hot latte. Did I mention the view from this place?
