Lara Klemens Massage

Lara is amazing and definitely the best massage therapist I have ever had the pleasure of getting massaged by– and I have had quite a few good massages from various people! She gives the most healing massages and soothes away all my aches, pains, and sore spots. She knows exactly what to work on and also listens to both my body and my words. Some massage therapists do a good job but leave you sore afterward; Lara is effective but also soothing and so smooth. She’s an experienced practitioner and it is apparent. Lara has a great personality and will talk as much as you want, or will be totally silent– it is completely based on your comfort level. I love Lara!!!

Although I’ve been to a number of massage therapists in San Francisco, for 10 years Lara was always my favorite. Too bad I no longer live on the West Coast, otherwise, I would see her as often as I could. Highly recommended!

Lara has been my go to massage therapist for over 10 years. She knows just how to work with my body to get it to relax and release in a way that is deep and profound without being painful. I am a life long athlete and desk sitter with deep, deep muscle tightness that most massage therapists can’t work with. They say, «oh, your tissue feels healthy and great!» but that is because they can’t work deeply enough or «smart» enough anatomically. Lara is not just a talented bodyworker, but someone who is extremely educated about her industry and skilled in her craft. Her knowledge of anatomy, physiology, functional kinesiology, as well as food and nutrition make her stand far above any other massage therapist I have worked with… and I have had over 500 massages in my life!
I also love her new office space. It’s a professional office building and her suite is quiet and calm. There is no hassle or fuss at the front desk and no waiting! Parking is pretty easy, and there are tons of great places to get a bite to eat. It’s a great excuse for me to visit another part of town that I wouldn’t normally go to regularly.
Go see Lara, you will LOVE her! She isn’t just an amazing bodyworker, but she is also a smart, interesting person. She is the best :)

I have recently started seeing Lara Klemens for massage and she is extraordinary. She is highly highly skilled, and knows exactly how to treat specific areas. I had a tendonitis of the elbow, and Lara found all the associated tight areas in the forearm, shoulder, and triceps.
I highly recommend Lara, she is very experienced and intuitive. A truly therapeutic and relaxing experience.

Lara is one of my favorite massage therapists, not to mention people. She is not only very good at her massage practice – easily able to determine the kind of therapeutic approach for her patients, the areas of their body to focus on, and the amount of pressure and type of touch needed for release and healing – she is also very down to earth, personable, and calm. Unfortunately I no longer live in the Bay Area so I don’t get to see her regularly, but when I visit I make it a point to make an appointment with her. She’s great!

Words can’t even describe how awesome Lara is. She really takes her time in understanding what areas of my body need work and focuses on my problem areas, which are usually my shoulder and back.
