FRAUDALERT! I can’t even begin to tell you how deceiving Legend Limo has been. I have never posted a review but felt inclined to warn potential clients of the fraud. I have been shopping limo bus companies for nearly 2 mos for my wife’s 30th birthday. I was contacted by manager Brian Mitchell and negotiations began. At first, Brian was friendly and appeared accommodating. The first quote came in and it was to the wrong destination. When I brought this to Brian’s attention, he said our mistake, that will be an additional 300 dollars if you want to go I that destination. I declined and said forget it. Next thing you know Brian waived the 300 dollars. The next quote came in and an additional 20% was charged upfront. I had a problem with that given tips generally reflect service provided after events. Brian tried to tell me that their service splits the tip with the driver. Of all the limo services I have ever used this was the first time I had heard this. As we were discussing this, Brian tells me if I provide a credit card they can hold the date. He says it would not be charged, rather on good faith that we could finish this deal. He went on to say that there have been several calls for that date and if we didn’t put a card down we would lose the date. I complied and we continued with negotiations. The 3rd quote came in and now there was a difference in the vehicle specified. I asked to view the limo before signing the contract and he refused. I explained I wanted to know what I was paying for and he was concerned I would cut him out of the deal. At this time I thanked them and told him I was no longer interested in booking a limo bus. I tried to be nice by suggesting maybe we could discuss something different for a separate event I need transportation for. 2 weeks later I receive my billing statement with a charge for $ 2300. There is no contract, no verbal or written authorization for payment, and no service agreed upon yet this company has billed my credit card. I have sent 10+ emails, 10+ voice messages, and anytime I get through it seems Brian is the only one who can help me but he is too busy on the phone. I even asked to wait on hold and was denied. This company has left me no choice but to file fraudulent claims through my credit card co and, if necessary, seek legal action through small claims court. I really hope they decide to return my messages to avoid the hustle but after a week I fear the worst. Not to mention, this company is only a brokerage meaning they find limos for you and charge you a finders fee. AVOIDTHISCOMPANYATALLCOST!!!
