Lindy in the Square

For a poor college grad who’s been bitten by the Lindy bug, Lindy in the Square is just the thing! Like the other reviewers mentioned, Lindy in the Square is FREE, every 4^th Wednesday of the month during the summer. The crowd is a mix of seasoned swing dancers and passerbys. Age-​wise, most of the men are older — where are all the young swing fellas? Everyone is friendly and willing to dance. Once in a while you’ll get that awkward, slightly creepy guy or the guy who wants to excessively throw you around, but I think that’s pretty normal when it comes to swing dancing in general. In those cases, a polite no should be fine.
Bring your friends! It’s a lot of fun dancing out on the square (and you’re guaranteed to be caught on camera by all the tourists)!
