Little Boxes Theater

Little Boxes Theater is a wonderful intimate space. As a new artist here in San Francisco, this place not only had affordable rates, but great hospitality and customer service. Aaron and Christina have been nothing but helpful over the past 6 months from our first encounter. I was searching for a venue for my company showcase in Fall 2014 and they were very compromising with their space and what I could truly expect for tech rehearsals, floor, lights, seating and more. Come week of the show, all my expectations were met and we had a great first showcase! I have also used Little Boxes Theater for rehearsal space, they were very responsive and helpful for scheduling space. Wonderful space for all types of artistic talent and performance space. Love them and love this space! :)

Aaron and Kitty are awesome! They always perform at 110%! I highly recommend working with them, or just go to one of the many events they host. I’m positive you will enjoy it :)

Wow, what a hidden gem! This theater looks like it’s going to be a warehouse from outside, but once you find your way in, you’re suddenly in another world. It’s cute and quirky and really spacious. They have comfy couches instead of seats, and the whole thing feels like being in a much larger & more professional version of my living room. The owners are absolutely sweet, down to earth, and seem like they’re pouring their heart and soul into making this a true community space. Who says SF’s art scene isn’t what it used to be?

I’ve used this space on multiple occasions for rehearsal for my dance group and Christina and Aaron are very easy to work with and extremely accommodating. They did a last minute save the first time i used the space; another studio space cancelled on me and they generously shifted their schedule so that my group would have a space. the environment is comfortable and homey with a unique flair. it’s clean and situated in a very industrial area that is a part of SF not everyone sees. the natural light from the windows, especially at sundown, is spectacular. a very conducive space for being creative and making art. id highly recommend.
