This app is amazing! It is free and works to track your phone as well as an antivirus software. Keeps you protected. I have had 1 lost phone and 1 stolen phone retrieved using this app. Literally saving me $ 1000+ I recommend this app to everyone. Thank you lookout secuirty!

This complete piece of crap came on my samsung phone and CAN’T be removed without rooting it. Invasive, snoopy and stupid and unrelenting in pestering you to upgrade to paid version. I don’t need to upload my contact list and other private to their cloud where they won’t share it, unless they’re asked to. Bogus stuff. Use Trust and Go — free of cost, free of bugging you and better all around.

So I’ve been using this App for about 4 years and paying for the ‘Premium’ features for about 3 now. Best way to put it is that this App is EASY. With the free version you get an antivirus and protection from spyware. You can also access the site to find your phone and it saves copy of your Google contacts according to your settings(daily, weekly, whatever). Seriously, if you don’t want to pay for a thing — this is all you really«NEED» to have your phone relatively safe. When I went for the Premium Service which runs about $ 30 a year I became able to: Back up photos, which are then saved on their servers. See and control which apps have access personal info(contacts, gps, phone number etc.). LOCK my phone remotely — neat just incase they figure out your PIN or phone lock. Lookout emails a separate code to you which you must enter ONTOP of your existing PIN. Another neat feature is that you have the option of having Lookout activate your phone’s forward facing camera when someone enters your PIN incorrectly three times. The app emails you the location of your phone as well as the picture it captured — of course the photo is contingent on lighting and camera quality. I’ve tested it for shiggles — works like a charm! You are also able to completely WIPE your phone — just like it sounds, your phone is reverted back to Zero — no contacts, call history, photos, apps or passwords, no browser history; NOTHING. That works too, just note that you won’t be able to recover anything you didn’t backup prior to the wipe. This is the simplest app to use and it runs completely in the background. Once you get your settings straight, you don’t have to touch the app again. I barely do, sometimes just to poke around and look at what’s been scanned or backed up. In the words of Ron Popeil — «Set it and Forget it!» Definitely worth looking at — the free version is GREAT! The Premium has a couple more convenience and ‘Oh Cool’ features.
