We found out about Nueva Generacion about 6 – 7 years ago when my wife and I were looking for a mariachi group to perform at our wedding. We were told to go to Cava 22 to watch them perform and my wife fell in love with them. We ended up getting their information and booking them for our wedding during the cocktail hour and to sing some selected songs while my wife and I sat at our sweet heart table. Our guests loved it and it was one of those things that added a cherry on top of our special day.
Most recently, my wife wanted to have mariachis again… but this time for our daughter’s baptism. As we expected, they came early, got tuned up, and then came into our party and put on an awesome performance for our guests, family and friends. Everyone had their phones out recording them as they played the classics! They actually sound better now in comparison when we booked them years ago… more refined and matured like a fine wine! lol

We had a great experience working with Salvador and Mariachi Nueva Generacion. We hired them for our wedding in April of 2015 and our guests enjoyed every song they played. They added a great element of celebration and happiness to our special day.
Aside from great music, there were a few other pluses to working with Salvador and his mariachi: they arrived early! They played until the last minute of our booking! Salvador was easily accessible and responsive by phone and text! Nothing but a great experience working with this team. Will definitely hire them again in the future for other special events!

These mariachi are exceptional. We hired them for a birthday party. I do not know much about mariachi, and found this mariachi band on Unilocal.Just decided to hire them based on good reviews. What a good choice it was! I got so many compliments. Even guests who had hired mariachi in the past a lot were asking me where I found this band and complimented me on how outstanding and professional they were. All of the guests and visitors at the Italian restaurant where we were celebrating asked them for business cards. They made our party so special. SO MANY THANKS!!!

They played for our wedding Sept 20, 2014 and were amazing! My husband and I believe we did a great job in contracting them for our wedding. They were on time and very professional. They played at our mass and during dinner time at our reception. Best of all, we had a 10 mariachi band which makes the sound much better and romantic. I do look forwarding to contracting them again. I do recommend booking them in a timely manner since they do many concerts through out the bay area.

I planned to do mariachis for a special event and I called many other mariachis in the bay and none of them answer me back. Mariachi nueva generacion were the only ones that really picked up their phone when I called. I paid for one hour and our guest were able to request songs and the mariachis improvised each song very well. They were all well dressed as the mariachis etiquette. Many of them played the violin which Is an instrument I personally love. They are well toned and they also offer their own special touch to finish the show. These guys really completed our event with an amazing performance. I totally recommend them.

Amazing mariachi! Hired them for our wedding a couple of weekends ago and they performed wonderfully!!! My husband is Mexican and everyone was raving about how good they were. Very presentable, great voices, played their instruments beautifully! I’m Nicaraguan and even I was like woah! They’re awesome. I’ve heard mariachis and never really thought much of the ones I’ve heard but found this mariachi through Facebook and we went of a whim. Best whim in a long time! Awesome job!!! Definitely will book again when needed!

Amazing mariachi. They come dress with all the true traditional outfit that makes them look so beautiful. They are all professional musicians, so you won’t feel cheated. They hired them for our company anniversary, it gave our event such an amazing and sophisticated look. They are totally worth the money.

This mariachi band is AMAZING! They play at Cava 22 in the Mission in SF every weekend and their 10 – 13 piece band is so much fun! The coordinated outfits and huge setup (accordians, tubas, 3 guitars at least) is truly celebratory. I am planning my birthday celebration and I think I want to go see these guys perform — you cannot be sad while watching these guys :)

So, im in this mexican restaurant and oh boy. here come the mariachi band and im thinking. oh god. this is going to be LOUD!
but in the end, they were fantastic! I was blown away. I dont even like this kind of music but this band was great and they played a few short sets rather than work all night.
