Mario did a great job installing a new high efficiency furnace for us. He carries a better product line than most of the people we got quotes from (American Standard instead of Carrier). The furnace we got is extremely quiet, much nicer than our old one. His price was very competitive, significantly lower than the other contractors, who would have installed a lower quality furnace.
The reason we installed a new heater was because the first contractors (Degree HVAC) who came to repair the old furnace told us it needed a new power board, which was too expensive a repair for an old heater. However, they had misdiagnosed the problem, which was a loose wire in the power box going to the furnace. Mario found and fixed that problem along with installing the new heater.
This is the first Unilocal review I’ve written — I was a little bit worried about going with Mario because he didn’t have a Unilocal presence yet, but the ones with the great reviews were the ones who misdiagnosed our problem. So I thought I should do my part to let others know that this is a really fine contractor, easy to work with, good prices, and reliable.
