Judith Mattingly is a genius and an artist! Not only is she an incredible architect, she is a great person. Classy, intelligent and caring, she will help you create and execute any project you can dream of.

My wife and I hired Mattingly Thaler to lead an extensive (9-​month) remodel of our 1926 house prior to move-​in. They were an amazing and thorough partner, going through 13 different design options with us, helping us source a general contractor (including site visits of their work), and coordinating with the rest of our team (landscape architect, designer) to get details in place, the job estimated, and permits filed and approved. One of the nice things about working with Judith and Peter is that they are always available– weekday, weekend, after-​hours– by voice and/​or email. Perfect for us Silicon Valley types. They did everything on a «Not to Exceed» contract, and made good on that commitment even though it all took a bit more than we had expected at the start. We were so happy with their work that we hired them (and the GC) back to handle Phase 2 of our remodel (exterior changes). We recommend Mattingly Thaler without reservation.
