Words are not enough to describe how amazing Dr. Scully is. Her knowledge combined with her great personality assures you that you are in great hands. I had the pleasure of seeing her several times and each time was for something that was not so pleasent. Her comforting and honest guidiance made me get rid of my worries and problems at a heart beat. You walk out of her office knowing all the facts and you know what you have to do. She is simply the best and I highly recommend her to all pregnant ladies that are out there. No matter what your concern is be assured that Dr. Scully will guide you the best way that there ever is. She is simply the best in her field.

When a doctor tells you as a matter of factly«if you don’t do THIS then THAT will eventually happen to you if you continue doing what you’ve been doing» and has you thinking ahhhhh sh*t I’d better get my act together, then you know you’ve got a straight forward tell like it is doctor. Dr. Melinda Scully is it. She made me want to hear more of what she had to say, and gave me props when she knew I was trying my best to get my sh*t together so I can have a healthy baby. Being diabetic is sometimes a pain in the ass, and when I was pregnant I had to work doubly hard to keep my sugar levels as close to normal as I could get it. Dr. Scully was the medical director of the Diabetic and Pregnancy Program at CPMC but has since moved on to her own practice at San Francisco Perinatal Associates where she specializes in high risk pregnancy for us diabetics. Check out . There ought to be more doctors like her who like to inform their patients WELL and just seem to genuinely care about your well being. At least she did with me and helped deliver my healthy baby. Rock on Dr. Scully, rock on!
